Rick designed and installed a beautiful three sided frameless glass shower in my new bathroom. He was amazing. Prompt, efficient, professional and very reasonably priced. He was happy to come back to make an adjustment for no charge. I recently ordered new glass inserts for my kitchen cabinets and he went above and beyond in making sure I got what I needed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for glass!

Reasonably priced, pretty much on the case — a neighborhood business, which I like to support.
As manhattan and new york city in general get more and more renovated, expensive, corporatized, watered-​down and jive, small businesses that perform essential services are getting pushed out in favor of behemoths like home depot and such. Home depot may be cheap for some things, but they sure as hell aren’t gonna send a guy out with one day’s notice to replace one tiny little pane of glass in a door for fifty bucks.
I called Rick’s 13 years ago when I first bought my townhouse to replace a pane in my vestibule door — they charged me $ 100. 2 days ago I called them again to replace 2 panes in the same door and they charged me $ 100 for both. That’s what I call good value.
Support local small businesses — if they’re occasionally more expensive than the big guys, it’s worth it for the personalized service, and to keep new york from becoming a suburban/​urban hellhole.
