Richard Merkler, MD

Dr. Merkler is the best doctor I have ever encountered in our life. He is accurate, prompt, kind, compassionate and also very thorough. He is also very accommodating to make sure that you get the best possible care. He also answers questions by text at anytime of the day. We highly recommend him for your child or as a family doctor.

Dr. Merkler is great; it is the assistant who is the problem. She is unprofessional and rude in her dealings with Dr. Merkler’s patients.

I went to see this doctor after i read lots of nice reviews about him, however i wasnt impressed at all. First when i entered the building they dont have any rump for the stroller, i was happy there was someone entering the building so he helped me, second — when i opened the door to enter to his office i was shocked, it looked like its 1900s, very dusty, everything is very very old, really nerrow hollyway just for 1 stroller to fit in. They just have couple of book fot kids, no toys or anything to entertain them while you are waiting. The doctor’s room was ok but again dust all over his desk (((i am soo glad we didnt have any shots thats day, the doctor is nice, gentle, soft spoken but he didnt talk to my 2yo at all, didnt really pay attantion to her, just asked to some questions, quick checked up her ears and eyes and she’s been screaming all that time. Well definitely i wont go back there again. The doctor was ok, but all he atmosphere there was so depressing and old fashoned and dirty so i wont recomment to visit him. He just need to spead some money to renew his office, clean the dust otherviwe no way we will visit him again.

I love Dr. Merkler! He’s so nice, so attentive, doesn’t make you feel like he’s rushing through your appointment, and answers questions thoroughly. I’ve (fortunately!) only had to call with questions outside of my regular appointments a couple times and get responses quickly, if not right away. I love that he has Saturday hours, and makes himself via cell phone. We will definitely be sticking with Dr. Merkler.

Lovely, soft-​spoken pediatrician who takes time to talk to you and your child. Old-​fashioned in the best possible sense.
