If you’re looking for a no-frills kind of spa, you may like this one. My friend and I use the coupon for a couples massage here last weekend. We enjoyed how quickly the receptionist responded to our questions via text message or by calling us back. I did a lot of research to find the right spot for us. This one caught my eye because of the price and because they offer complimentary wine and chocolates. Secondly, they were actually there to answer my call unlike some of the other spas i attempted to contact. Pros: they were great with communication and accommodating when my friend and I arrived a little late. They also asked ahead of time how firm we would like our massages and what areas they should focus on. Cons: we got a little lost because we were not expecting the spa to be located and such a building. It really does not look like a typical spa location. The room they ushered us into was very dim with a gigantic pole in the middle. This to us look very odd. While we were getting our massages, we heard very loud conversations coming from the lobby. This is a very huge distraction The beds were also pretty loud and creaky When we finished our massage, the ladies kept coming in while we were dressing. I am grateful for them being so accommodating, but I do not think we will return.

Okay so first the good: We came for a couples massage it was great, so relaxing and the masseuse applied as much pressure as I asked her for. No complaints about the massage at all. The bad : The waiting room! Omg the waiting room is terrible lol. It 4 fold out chairs smack dab in the middle a nail place the size of a closet(the nail salon consists of one pedicure chair and one table, looks kind of unsanitary I wouldnt risk it). Our«60 minute» massage was more like 45 at best.

Great service! Had a couples massage and facial. The brochure says 60 minute facial and massage but it is actually 50 minutes each. I didn’t know what was going on at the end but overall it was a nice experience.

I am posting 4 stars based on my boyfriend experience. My therapist was OK. We had couples massage and the scrub. She rushed it through and tried to finish me fast, taking into consideration that I’m not Groupon customer… I wouldn’t come back there because they cut our time therefor our experience. Lady upfront was very nice and welcoming. I would change therapists for customer’s experience.

I bought a deal from groupon $ 65 for a couples massage. I read the reviews on Red Wine Spa through Unilocal and there isn’t much to read. However I decided to give it a try. I arrived at the place with my BF. The place itself is quite small, they gave us a tablet to fill out information about ourselves and type of massage that we would like. They inquired if we wanted a glass of wine. Of course for extra charge. Then we were directed to out room. The room is literally 5 steps away from the waiting area and maybe two steps away from the checkout area to pay. The room is pretty much as seen at the pictures that were provided. Except for the curtains coming down. The two beds are separated at least 5 – 6 steps away. Wish we would have been closer. But there is a big pole in between both beds. The massage was not bad at all. The begin at medium pressure and they will ask if it’s okay or if you want more pressure. We had a male and female masseuses. The male was Ariel(sorry not good with names) but he was really good. You have the choice of having a convo with them or just being silent. I chose silent. I didn’t want nothing to interfere with my relaxing moment. But overall the massage was good. Not something over the top. This is not a fancy place if you guys are looking for that. However if you’re looking for something simple yet cute this would be nice.

I got a couples massage here, and they were great! They were very attentive and I liked the wine and chocolate we got afterwards. I also liked that they asked me how I liked my massages before we started, giving me a chance to tell them exactly what I wanted. I’m not really sure why the ratings are so low for this place.

After reading the reviews I was expecting to have a pretty bad experience but I booked the couples massage and facial which ended up being quite good. We came a little early and the waiting area was pretty awkward since there’s only a curtain between the waiting area and the massage area. Once the couple before us had finished we filled out our information, enjoyed a glass of wine and got started with the massage. The woman doing the facial was very very nice and everyone I interacted with was super sweet and accommodating. For a couples massage I wish we were a little closer but other than that the atmosphere was alright(don’t expect lots of frills, it’s simply set up). I got a facial and my guy got a massage and then we switched. The ladies both seemed knowledgable and I was quite relaxed. I could hear some noise and I heard the door opening an closing a bunch of times which was a little disruptive but all in all a good experience. If you booked a deal they definitely tell you at the end to call direct and they’ll give you a better deal. Not the best, not the worst. If you’re looking for a quick romantic little treat that won’t break the bank this is a good find but if you get massages often you’ll likely be a bit disappointed by the services.

How can you give a massage while on your cell phone? My fiancé and I went for a couples massage yesterday afternoon, and both said to each other immediately afterward that both masseuses were texting /on the phone the entire time. I’m not stupid, and can hear the phone vibrating and you typing right next to my ear. I also know when you are distracted and using one hand for long stretches of time. When we walked in, they immediately moved us to an office next door, which had a different company listed on the door. This is where we waited for ~20 minutes before anybody acknowledged us. I am patient waiting to start, but we weren’t sure if anybody knew we were even waiting. Lastly, I bought a livingsocial voucher for this couples massage, which was supposed to include two glasses of wine and chocolate. I was not interested in the wine, but was surprised that it wasn’t even offered. The couple leaving before me took their wine to chug on their way out the door. Overall I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer service, and will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Unfortunately, this place does not like to call you back to schedule an appointment especially when you mention Livingsocial. The lady who picked up said she would be able to cut me a deal, but actually the deal on Livingsocial was actually better. Then said would call me back to schedule, never happened and it’s been a few days and counting.

I had an enjoyable massage here — so enjoyable that I bought another and a facial as soon as it ended. I’m not a massage connoisseur, but it felt good. At only $ 45+tax for an hour it’s really hard to argue with. If you call, you can get a price significantly reduced from what is printed on the website. I have no idea why. There are some things that might seem sketchy at face value, but all of them turned out to be fine. The ‘spa’ is located in a suite in an office building. It requires a code to get in downstairs: we just called reception when we got there. When you walk in you will be asking yourself if this is really the right place. It is! The waiting area is unimpressive, but again, it’s fine. Also, there is only a curtain between your massage area and the reception area. I only heard people for a moment at the beginning and at the tail end. It won’t deter me from going again. There aren’t bells and whistles: no locker room, no steam room, no sauna. But there was calming music, professional masseuses, and clean equipment. I NEEDED to relax, and this did the trick.
