I can’t say much about the food or the service. We walked in for a quick drink. There were no seats available at the bar so we had to stand by one of the tiny tables. The bartender was sweet. She walked up to us every time, even though we could have gone up to the bar to order and pay. The sangria was superb.

I was in Harlem and I hate to say that the neighborhood generally makes the restaurant. The service was decent, not fantastic. The ambience is always sold at a Red however, the food left me feeling like«I have to stop eating at chain restaurants.» Everything tasted right out of a freezer… not such a good thing when it comes to seafood. O yeah, my dish was burnt. Ordered the lobster dip and was«informed,» that«this is how is looks.» I’ve ordered the lobster dip several times, I’m fully aware of what it «looks like» thanks!

We were waiting over 15 minutes after were seated for a waiter to greet us. Once she came to get the orders, it took over an hour to get the food. Once the food got here half of the ingredients were missing and the chicken was raw. We are very disappointed with the services here. Never coming back.

Party of 18. Sat down at 6:24. At 630pm I complained about the place being extremely hot. At 6:39 I asked security to speak to the manager. At 647 I went looking for the manager. I found her at the take out area. That area was extremely cool. The temperature had to be 67 degrees. She told me she just lowered it to 72. I told her thats insane. 72 is to high I told her it should be set at 65 degrees. Also no one come over to check on us or bring water. The waters came out 42 mins after we sat. She later came by telling me she lowered the AC from 78 to 65. I told her that’s crazy and unexceptable to have and AC at 78. My food landed on my table 1 Hr 49 mins from the time I sat down. That’s definitely unprofessional. I went and spoke to the female manager with a limp, heavy set. Again. She went and got the G.M. he told me his name was Angelo but my receipt has another name for the G.M. He gave me a bunch of excuses. The 1lame was that they just got a new air conditioning unit and no one knows how to operate it. That’s total bullshit. The place is 3 years old. I’m sure the employee’s don’t complain because management are jerks. My experience was horrible. This service is expected in the hood. I was glad to leave and come home to civilization 80 miles away.

Three stars for this place and I’ll explain why. 1 Star because my server Stephanie A is an amazing and very attentive wonderful server. Hands down she was the best experience I’ve ever had in a chain restaurant. 1 star for my drink, which originally was made watered down and bad but then the manager on duty Denise apologized to my table and told me she would make it herself and wow, amazing! I did not know managers knew how to bartend but she did a better job than the bartender(who messed up my drink TWICE!) 1 Star for the steak, yes, I ordered steak at a seafood place because I honestly do not like red lobster food. I just came here bc my friend wanted to eat there. The NY strip was amazing. The bad? The seafood stuffed anything is gross, not sure what they stuff it with but it’s horrible. The biscuits weren’t as good as I remember them being and the bathrooms were super dirty. Also the hostess was on the phone face timing instead of actually working. That was so unprofessional.

Came back for a girls night and I must say the service was much better and the food was enjoyable. I didn’t like the first drink I had so the waitress was nice enough to change it without charging. Watch them thou because they have no problem giving themselves a tip with your card.

Me and my sis came around 10pm. Although it seemed busy, we didnt have to wait long for a table on a saturday night which was great. We ordered two drinks, two appetizers, and then ordered or main course. Jaymes was our waiter. He seemed really busy but very professional. The food i must say was very salty. And it did not come out very hot at all. The steak was rare not medium rare. Besides that, Jaymes was very polite till towards the end. We were confused because the Gratuity of 18% for two people was added. We should have been told that, but was not informed till we asked. When we wanted to split the bill between us and also pay the tip in cash and card, he got mad and felt the need to explain to us why its there. Saying thats how they make their money. And now he has to ask the manager to take it off now. As a server, i know. There was a few things he couldve said without getting him self so worked up. He also seem supper tired and maybe thats why he felt the need to tell us. Its supposed to be a place to eat, enjoy and dine in. Why add gratuity for parties less than 6 people. And also not mention it. Maybe he did that without the manager knowing?. That would be a shame. Also the bathoom doors needs to get fixed and cleaned more often on a busy day, they were dirty.

I may have to put this on my «palette has evolved beyond this» list. I accepted an offer from a friend to go here so here we go. The scampi sauce was so salty and this was after 3 attempts, my 1st serving was dry so I asked for another. They came back with concentrated scampi sauce, thick, cold, green and salty — totally forgot to dilute it. Maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice or care. 3rd time sauce was diluted but not enough. The previous was so potent that by this point I was overwhelmed and still smelled the saltiness. My potatoes were cold. My bahama mama was blah. It wasn’t a good food experience. The server was so bubbly and kind — she needs to be somewhere else. A place whose product is worthy of her presentation. My friends dish was really good. Even still, I can take a long break from here. These places are hit or miss and this was one miss too many for me. They get comfortable in their long time chain status and complacent. They know ppl are gonna come forever so they can slack up if and when they wish. Not me tho — my time, money, taste buds and quality of life deserve better.

I’ve been coming here since this Red Lobster opened and have never had a disappointing meal or anything less than excellent service. The last time I came here was for lobsterfest and I am going back soon for more. The lobsters are fresh and meaty and succulent and absolutely divine. The steak in the surf and turf was also really good. I also recommend their piña colada, because why not? :)

Busy Sunday. My server Candace did not pay attention to me because I was not a single ghetto loud hood mother. Her service was discriminatory. Just because I have a Chanel bag and was single does not mean I should not get service. I spoke to her wordless unprofessional looking unapologetic supervisor and was given biscuits. Harlem is a haven for poorly educated and mediocre service that I received at this place.

I can’t event rate this place a 1 because the service was horrible. Once we entered the restaurant, we were hastily told to go upstairs and check in. When we discovered the wait time was 30 minutes, we stupidly resulted to sitting by the bar. Our waiter took forever to come over and greet us, took our order quickly and had an attitude the whole time. Our meals came out about 15 minutes later and were incorrect might I add. We did not want to send it back since the waiter had to literally take the elevator upstairs to get us a new dish which could have taken another lifetime. Our drinks weren’t refilled, we were treated so rudely, and it took forever to get attention or even a check out of here. Will not be coming back because this honestly gave me such a headache.

I like to come here and chill at the bar. I’m not fond of the biscuits(they used to be amazing, now they’re essentially salt cakes) but I’m a total sucker for the lobster pizza. Food is standard for the chain and the bar décor is rather nice. Prices for drinks are quite affordable and the drinks are, surprisingly, not watered down! If you’re in the area, it’s a good choice for a quick bite!

First appearance was good and much different from all the other red lobsters I have been 2. Bartender(guy with braids). Debated with me telling me that they absolutely do not serve red sauce for the linguini and only Alfredo. That’s insane. I told him that’s impossible and obviously does not make any since. There was another customer sitting at the bar(Black of course) sucking her teeth and throwing side giggles with the bartender. Clearly they knew each other. Her hair looks horrible the nerve of her to even go there. But i let it slide. It was definitely unprofessional. He felt like a total idiot when he came back down the steps to tell me that they would serve but had to whip it up specially for me. Huh? Clearly he felt dumb and had to throw that in there. Other issues: Waiter was not attentive at all and basically made it seem like I was an idiot. A clear no-no with your paying customers. Forgot the biscuits and tarter sauce. Never brought a salad Brought the biscuits with the meal. Huh???

This was my first time here at the Harlem location. Before this visit I haven’t been to a Red Lobster restaurant in 6 years. I came on a Friday to celebrate a birthday over dinner. It was crowded and the wait was long. However, we kept ourselves entertained. As we were seated it took a while to get our drinks and even longer to get our biscuits. When our food did arrive my shrimp linguine was warm, flavorless and a bit dry. I didn’t care too much for the teriyaki shrimp as I ordered from the endless shrimp deal. The shrimp scampi was the best thing there even though there was a little bit of garlic sauce. Overall I wasn’t impressed.

So a buddy, my girlfriend & I chose Red Lobster for dinner this evening. Our server Mike was very helpful & welcoming. I decided upon the choose any 3 for 23.99& a Bahama Mama, my girlfriend on the Shrimp and Lobster paradise and my buddy on the Ultimate Seafood Sampler thingy they have with a little bit of everything. Our drinks and biscuits arrived shortly after we placed our order. We’re chatting for a bit, and there goes our food! Looking/smelling terrific! Food was great, had no complaints nor did my party. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. Mike’s customer service was 5 stars! He was kind enough to eliminate the price of an extra side because I wasn’t having a garden salad or cole slaw. Worked very hard & earned every penny of our gratuity. He’s great!

When I go to red lobster, I go for the cheddar biscuit. I love this chain restaurant because of its consistency, good price, and the most important, unlimited heavenly biscuits! We were seated immediately but the service was very slow since then. Our waiter was polite but it took forever for us to get our food. This place is understaffed so don’t visit if you are in a hurry. Chocolate wave is the second reason I would go. Other than that, nothing special. I’ve never loved their entries or other stuff. Also the lunch menu is kinda misleading. It says $ 7.99 but mine turned out over ten bucks. But it’s still a steal :)

I know what you are thinking: «Aw man… I love Red Lobster, but… it’s in Harlem. Damn… how much am I going to have to sacrifice quality and service?» Rest your mind, this place is excellent! The food and the service is up to standard with any Red Lobster you’ve been to in the city or anywhere else. Don’t worry, your experience will not be the same as if you went to Joe’s Crab Shack in Harlem.(Ewww…a chill just ran down my spine. See my review. SMDH) Trust me on that.

I had lunch with my family here this past Monday, we were seated right away and our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant wasn’t crowded or loud like other locations that I’ve been to. Once we were seated, our waitress assisted us right away. I read a newspaper article about this location a few months stating that local residents complained about the gratuity, I guess they didn’t realize that that’s standard. I would definitely dine here again!
