I will preface this review by saying that I never win anything. So, you can imagine my shock when I won the
«Monday morning» photo shoot. Although I was super anxious about having a photographer show up at 6am to capture my morning, I was hopeful that we would maybe get a few nice shots to hang on to. My husband, on the other hand, was legitimately annoyed when I informed him of the upcoming events. However, Raquel is so good at what she does that during the 2+ hours she spent at our apartment in the wee hours of the morning, we kept forgetting she was there. When it was all over, my husband couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. As she left I crossed my fingers that she had maybe caught a moment or two that would be not-​awful. I was not at all prepared for how beautiful the images turned out to be. When I saw the photos on her blog and on
, I kept finding myself thinking, «I had no idea she was even in the room when that happened.» and «Is that really what my morning looks like?» Raquel managed to capture so many lovely moments that I wasn’t even aware had occurred. She is easy-​going, professional and extremely likable. She put us at ease immediately. The photos are beautiful and I feel so lucky to have been chosen. I highly recommend Raquel, she is a true talent.
