Grabbed late night drinks here with a buddy. It’s more of a coffee shop than bar, but it’s close to Grand Central and easy to walk in and out. Since it’s part of the hotel, the restrooms are in the hotel. It’s worth walking in since the lobby is beautiful.

Service was good. Honey French toast with blueberries and blueberry butter was amazing! Seafood omelette(with smoked salmon and shrimp) special with home fries(that have onions and green bell peppers) was really good! It also included coffee and toast and was $ 19.99. We are full without over-eating! Saddens me that this place is not rated better. They say it is because of the prices but everything in NY is expensive… not a shocker! Also maybe because I live in L.A. Breakfasts costing $ 20 is not expensive…

Not a fan. This is a very overpriced restaurant with basic options. We arrived at 600 and were the only people in here to eat. The four of us ordered and the food came out very quickly except one dinner and one side dish did not arrive and didn’t arrive for another 15 minutes. There was nothing more than an excuse and poor apology made while one 10 year old watched the others eat. I would not recommend it here.

Terrible coffee and extremely overpriced. Dirty floors and small tables. Pickles tasted like bleach. When you’re located next to Starbucks, maybe you should try a little harder to keep your coffee fresh. Lesson learned next time stick to Starbucks

I stayed at the Lexington Hotel last week and went for supper to Raffles Bistro which is located in the same building. I got a food poisoning from a salmon sandwich that I’ve ordered. I went to Raffles Bistro straight after my flight so I did not eat for 6 hours prior to dining there and haven’t eaten anything afterwards. I started feeling seek 2 hours after I ate at Raffles Bistro and threw up 5 times during the next twelve hours. It was a horrible night, I was waking up every 40 – 60 minutes and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. Horrible experience.

This place has mediocre food & poor service. The food was okay, definitely not worth the price. My $ 16.00 Californian Breakfast Burrito was flavorless. I can accept food not living up to the price. What I cannot accept is poor service. I ordered my burrito with bacon added in it, it came without the bacon. So whatever, as long as I didn’t get charged I wouldn’t care. However, our server did not check on us until I about had no burrito left. I was sitting at the table, needing a coffee refill & needing napkins but the server was not doing his job.

I just got a drink here. The food menu was pricey, but you know, it is Manhattan so you win some lose some:) It’s attached to a nice hotel. And the guys behind the bar were very friendly. Define try go here if you’re staying at the hotel.

Had the artichoke pizza. Not very good. Everything on it was canned. Not good quality at all. Will not eat here again.

This establishment was attached to The Lexington hotel, where I stayed. Had it not been for my mother’s knee pain, I probably would have avoided dining here. We dined at Raffles twice. We were seated immediately each time in the same seat I might add. The coffee is blah. The staff is friendly. I am no stranger to Manhattan pricing but nothing on the menu that is worth the amount of money this place charges for the sub-par quality of food served here. For starters and more importantly the coffee sucks. Now with that said, there really is no need to go on from there but allow me to indulge you. The morning of arrival I had the omlette special. The cheese in the omelet was not melted, and just turned into a clump of cheese stuck in the middle, and they were pretty stingy with the vegetables. My Mother ordered the pancakes which were a tad bit overcooked. I am sure they would have been better off had they used wall plaster instead. Our second visit provided us with more of the same dark water, a.k.a coffee. This time my mother decided to grab a muffin and I decided to grab an English Muffin since I was going to have breakfast when my wife she returned from the Today Show. $ 6 for a pretty average muffin, and another $ 6 for a barely toasted English muffin is an outrage.

Rating: 3.5÷5. Our group of eight was promptly seated in this kid-friendly restaurant. Complimentary iced water was offered to the table as we seated. The service was fast and friendly. The toasted bagel with the lox on top deserved a 4 rating. The bagel was freshly toasted. The lox had an exquisite buttery texture. The combination was delicious. The spongy waffle with sausages was below average. The waffle lacked crispiness. The coffee was average. The clean restrooms with a changing table for babies is located on the mezzanine of the adjacent Lexington hotel. You will access it through the stairs. We parked in a private parking nearby.

I stayed at the lexington hotel and wanted some food so went down to try this restaurant out. APPETIZERS: Mozzarella sticks were amazing, and there hummus was one of the best i’ve had. My friends also had calamari which they ate almost all so i’m guessing they enjoyed it and the marinara sauce that came with the calamari and mozzarella sticks was horrible, just tasted like watered down, bland tomato sauce Service was great, we had a waiter i forgot his name but i do know hes from Nepal lol I ordered Penne a la Vodka which was extremely bland didn’t even eat 1⁄3 of it. My friends also had pasta 2 of them had the shrimp scampi which was nothing special the only good thing was that the shrimps were big and there was at least 6 – 8 shrimps in this meal. I think it was a tad overpriced about $ 30 per meal.

OMG, horrible. Needed to get a quick bfast before leaving the city. Ordered the french toast which was not edible. My wife ordered waffles, same thing, horrible. We also ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. The PROCESSED cheese(three slices) was just thrown on top. Scrapped it off. Eggs were the only thing we could eat. Two people asked us how breakfast was, I said horrible. The manager never came over and told the server to gives us 10% off. This was the worst bfast we have ever had. It was a $ 56 bfast AFTER discount. I actually ordered Essa bagel while sitting there. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would.

Hmm my first three star rating… having said that I have been here 3 times in total and keep coming back. I do concur with the other patrons that the place can’t seem to make up it’s mind whether it’s a bar, or a restaurant or a bistro. For example, I was seated at the bar, but served by a waiter outside the bar, even though there was a bartender. The pricing is not bad and they even had a $ 19 lunch special. I had the turkey club with the consommé and they were both delicious. Would prefer to not watch the bartender stock the coolers and not interact with me even though she was right in front of me. Instead I had to turn around and deal with the waitress who kept approaching me from behind. If I would have wanted that I would have sat at a table.

The meal was hot and freshly prepared. It came out quickly. However, there was nothing spectacular about the meal or the service. In fact I was seated and it took a while for someone to speak to me. I didn’t get any bread, but the other tables got. So doable late at night after. Checking into my hotel. The price point was on the moderate end for that area. The food was nice and hot. But the food was okay and the service could use improvement. I had the spinach ravioli with Gorgonzola cream sauce.

Over priced and slow service. Certainly not worth it with so many other options available near by. Ordered the yogurt parfait and was told 2o min later(when they brought food for others to the table) that they did not have yogurt. We had 5 different waitresses during our meal. Non of which knew that the other was getting for us.

Clearly not 4 star. Pet peeve of mine started with the fork prongs being bent. The silverware didn’t match, nor did the plates. Or the coffee cups for that matter. I mean this isn’t a diner, this is supposed to be some classy dining experience that I surely didn’t have. I am speaking specifically about the breakfast experience I had. The dinner experience was a complete 180. I ordered dijon encrusted salmon and it was cooked perfectly. I mean spectacular. My lady friend had the filet mignon and hers was also prepared with skilled hands. The plates were sized for a skinny couple which we are not but no worries because it was comped. We easily racked up a 100 $ dinner, and that’s before the cheesecake dessert. I am on the fence about this place. I wouldn’t spend any real money here but that’s just me. Breakfast was lacking. But dinner made up for it. So 3 stars, but that’s being generous.
