Ryan Chong was super helpful in helping me secure a rental apartment during my relocation from Sacramento, CA to NYC. Being a first time renter in NYC, I was really overwhelmed with the housing market/​rental process, especially given that I was doing this from long distance and sight unseen. He was very honest and prompt in his communication with me, and was very accommodating with coordinating with my friends that live over there that were willing to look at places on my behalf. He also found places that fit my desires/​budget and didn’t waste my or my friends’ time (which was key, especially since I already felt bad that they were taking their time to do this for me!). One of my limiting factors was having a pet, but he managed to find me a pet friendly, luxury apartment for a decent price that included my desired amenities.
Best of all, he put me at ease with this whole process. I was getting stressed and worried about finding a decent place to live over there, and he was always very reassuring.
Another bonus (for whom it may be relevant): he speaks both Korean and English.
Highly recommend! The broker fee was actually worth it.
