Quest Diagnostics

Very slow and inefficient. The staff is surly and bitter. The waiting room is filled with dirty people talking aloud on phones and taking smoke breaks during the long wait. Get me out of here.

My doctor told me to go get a certain test done when I had a flare up so I couldn’t make an appointment in advance. The woman that works at this location (at least on Thursdays) is Amazing! So efficient. Very convenient. So much better than other locations at which I had an appointment.

I’ve been waiting since 11:30 for a blood draw. These are the slowest people in the world. The receptionist left and there is a line of 3 at the desk. They have no idea where she is or when she will be back… Just waiting for a standard blood draw.

Went to this lab on a Thursday morning @8 am. This is a walk in lab, so I walked in and was the first patient. One more after me. Very clean environment and the technician is nice and professional. My blood was drawn painless. An pleasant experience in Manhattan laboratory.

I went there today to have blood drawn for allergy tests. I walked in, no appointment. I was seen within 25 minutes. The technician was personable, organized, and took the many vials of blood absolutely painlessly. The site is spotless. The bathroom sparkling. The wait area, again super clean and comfortable, with a large TV monitor in the wall. I’ve been to other Quests in the past. But this was the by far the best run facility.

The last thing anyone wants to take time out of their day to do is get their blood drawn. On top of that, every New Yorker knows that labs and doctor offices in the city are either hit or miss, especially when it comes to the cleanliness factor!
I went to this Quest location to get my blood drawn by order of my doctor. I choose this location since it was close to my office, but I was a bit worried about how long it would take since this specific location only takes walk-​ins according to the Quest site. To my surprise, the waiting room was not only empty but very clean. A friendly woman greeted me, asked how she could help, and got to work right away. I didn’t have to wait at all and before I knew it my blood was drawn and I was on my way out. The whole process took less than 5 minutes.
Kaedene is the name of the lovely woman who helped me from start to finish. She was the only employee there, from what I saw at least, and was such a delight. Not only will I go back to this location but I definitely would recommend others go here as well.
