Quagliata Brothers

I love this place. This neighborhood has a few other places like this, I see Marios mentioned in other reviews, but this one is the best. The prices are better, the food is better, and the place is spotless. The people who own and operate it are also super friendly and genuinely appreciative of your business. I’ve had almost everything they sell here in terms of prepared food and salads and I can’t think of one thing I dislike. I get sandwiches here every week, the American Hero being my personal favorite, and this bad boy is two meals worth of food, and for around $ 7.00 you can’t beat that price. I just ate the second half of the one I bought yesterday. I like the pasta dishes which are never over-​cooked, and the homemade meatballs as well. They have chicken wings, and chicken cutlets grilled or breaded, and used to have really good fried chicken, though I don’t see that as much. Maybe it sells out early in the day.
If you want large orders, the good thing about this place is that the food quality is consistent whether you order one serving or food for 30, as we recently did. That’s not always the case at many other places as they often do catering differently than what’s available in store. Not here. Topshelf all the way. The butcher case offerings are also very good with high quality cuts of meat, excellent homemade sausage and the do it yourself raw dishes like the stuffed or marinated chicken, porkchops and beef dishes as well as a rotating selection of other items, are as good as you could make at home, (if you can cook), and very well priced. I’m sure opening a place like this with high overhead was a very risky and scary venture in a neighborhood that has their long time favorites and more than one other competitor, but through their high standards, consistency of food and service, cleanliness, quality, fair prices and friendliness, they’ve been become a standout and a favorite destination of mine. Thanks guys and keep up the great work! As long as I need to eat, you’ll be seeing me.

For all the reasons already listed and more my family loves Quagliata’s. Clean, great food, friendly and professional staff and ownership.
My reason for stopping to write the review is their homemade meatballs.
I haven’t made meatballs for years because I just never mastered it, but one day I decided to try Quagliata’s homemade.
350 degrees & 45 minutes later I had the most amazing fresh meatballs and now my family won’t eat anything else.
The real test was two weeks ago when I had friends from Europe over and they said they were hands down the «most delicious meatballs [they’ve] ever had».

They catered my birthday party and the food was delicious! My guests enjoyed everything and was complimenting the food throughout dinner. Ordering was easy with Gerard and everything arrived in plenty of time before the party. Thank you! I highly recommend their catering services/​menu.

When you walk in the door you’re greeted. The friendliest nicest staff. Now the food how do you decide? All the prepared foods are fantastic. The meats are top quality and maybe you pay a little more than a supermarket but you get what you pay for. The spinach and feta chicken burgers are so great to grill and the flank steak is to die for! I recently had a graduation party for my son and had most of it catered. From the delivery to set up it was a great experience. The eggplant rollatini was the biggest hit. The bad part is my guests liked their food better than mine. Guess I won’t be cooking much anymore.

this place is so friendly and they go out of their way for you! their cooked foods are great and the people are so nice, better than other butchers on that avenue! they are down to earth people. prices are good and variety is great, 5 stars for them!!!

We always went to Mario’s. Marios was the nicest man, always greeted you when you walked in. Mario passed away and hie son took over. Well, 9 months later the service and product went down hill. So we ventured over to Quagliata, to our surprise there were two of Marios employees working there. Quagliata’s staff is friendly and very proffesional. Great sandwiches, excellent butcher. We have been going here for a year and never had a problem.

Great deli and butcher shop… Service is great and feels like your home. Home cooked foods are delicious. The fresh cut chicken cutlets are best I ever had. I also had the eye round roast beef (excellent). The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Its a pleasure to shop in market like this a and get some good personalized service. Store is always clean and inviting.
