I am so EXCITED that Provisions is now carrying Opie Goat’s Soap! I met the owner when she was here in NYC looking for shops to carry her line and gave me a sample… it was the BEST SOAP EVER and I have normal to sensitive skin. It doesn’t matter all types can use this product and fell in love.

It’s a cute store, but the olive oil is slightly above average for a rather expensive price tag. As the previous reviewer stated, you’re able to try the different olive oil flavors with bread. It’s good, but certainly not the best I’ve had. They could use a bit more variety as well. On the plus side, the salesperson was very nice.

For all you stumptown coffee fans who also love chocolate… this specialty food store carries a mast brothers chocolate bar that is infused with stumptown cofee beans!!! Let me repeat that: STUMPTOWN! + CHOCOLATE! One can only imagine what other goodies this place has up its sleeves. Fortunately, there’s a website for browsing. Unfortunately, S&H from the website is mad dollars. Fortunately, you can avoid shipping costs by visiting their store location, which is right next to seaport!

Now that I live downtown, I’ve discovered this cute little California olive oil place that lets you DIP SOME BREAD INTO FREE SAMPLES! They have flavor varieties like blood orange and garlic, and all of them are hella good, ninja.
Get on their mailing list, and you get invited to their little events like the one last week where they cook up some free food with their oil and serve it with FREE BEER! We had to buy something, so we bought the blood orange olive oil. You can bake with that schtuff because it doesn’t have a terribly strong olive flavor, so I made orange brownies and they’re bitchin.
Bring in the old bottle (or even your own bottle) and get 2 DOLLARS OFF the price! I’ll be taking advantage of this deal later, so don’t be surprised when I have a vase and a nalgene full of olive oil.
