These guys are the last vestige of old school photo film processing. They have the best printers, if you ever need C-​prints or digital retouching, their staff is on it and work with you through the process… Sadly I’m not able to use their services as much as I’d like to due to dwindling budgets and the slow, kicking death of editorial photography, but when I’m feeling rich and I shoot film for myself, it always goes here, they’re the only ones I trust. Expensive? Yes. But if you’re shooting film to begin with, you’re not thinking about your wallet much anyway… And hooray for not having to go all the way to Chelsea. You can grab your groceries at Whole Foods around the corner on the way home — don’t forget the sheep’s milk cheese and imported chocolate, you Brooklyn, canvas bag-​toting, organic-​eating hipster yuppie…
