Love the tater tots! They are the best! I’d come here for the fries and the tater tots anyday. The service here is also really good. The workers are nice but the bad thing about the fries when they are left out too long is that they would be very soggy

We came here after work for a great quick snack and we were satisfied. We ordered sour cream and onion regular fries and cheddar loopy fries. The seasoning was on point and tasty. Price is okay for its price but a little bit small. Tip: you can ask them to ask chili powder to any flavor. We did it for our cheddar one and this really enhances it!

Bleh! It sounds appealing, a cool little French fry stop in NYC but it’s really not that good. The place itself is teeny weeny and as we were ordering more people were trying to cram in and it maxes out at about 7 – 8 people. Only two bar stools inside but honestly I don’t even know why they have them. The French fry menu was cool, they have a few options and different flavors(hence the two stars instead of one.) I ordered cheddar cheese flavor and my friend got sour cream and onion. The fries themself were crispy but I just didn’t like they way they tasted. I also asked for a side of cheese to dip them in and I think my request was lost in translation because what I ended up with was shredded cheese just melted on them that hardened before I could even eat it.

I went here with a friend of mine. I ordered the original fries in cheddar flavor. It was sooooo good! The only thing is that the space here isn’t too wide. It easily get crowded so I suggest you should take out but other than that I’ll definitely come back here next time.

Although it might’ve been my fault, some of the fries were soggy. I was left, unimpressed and wanting more. Partially my fault for closing the bag for about 5 minutes so it might’ve been better when I initially got it. Like many deep fried foods, it was greasy but the powder they coat the fries in for my garlic and parmesan was tasty. There was a bit of sweetness to it as well. I suppose I should retry it freshly made but as of now, it’s okay. It satisfies a little of my need for some french fries. But would it be the best? As of now, no.

Just fries and you have an option of mixing it with sauce which is pretty much flavored powder and they shake it together for you. Tried it once. Probably won’t try it again

I ordered mega tatter tots with bbq flavoring. It tasted all right but kind of on the salty side. however though, it satisfied my fried potato craving. For the flavoring of the tots, they just put the freshly fried tots in a bucket with the powder flavoring inside and shake it so the tots stick to the flavor, that might explain the greasyness. I came in wanting to try their potatoes food but I wouldn’t come in everyday but once is a longgg while is good for me This place is very small, they got 2 high table seats and 2 exits which is pretty cool

I used to come here all the time. The boss here is very nice but I feel it downgraded a little bit. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still great. Just… I feel like it used to be better. I love their sweet potato fries in sour cream & onion flavor. My boyfriend really likes their jojo chips. What’s great is that they open late. It gives me the opportunity to get some fries/chips after work. The staff here is nice and friendly too.

I love French fries but Potato Corner left me kind of disappointed. It’s a hole in the wall located smack in the middle of Chinatown. There are only 2 seats in the entire store so be sure to have another location to eat in mind. Overall, the place seemed very cramped and dirty. The workers were very nice though and I got my order very quickly. So I got the mega tater tots with sour cream and onion flavoring. I thought they were slightly below average. Definitely not the best tater tots I’ve had. Even though they just came out of the deep fryer, they still weren’t particularly crispy. In fact, I found them to be a bit too greasy. The sour cream and onion flavoring was nothing to write home about. It was actually a little too salty and artificial tasting in my opinion. This place is definitely very innovative since there are no other stores of this sort in the immediate area. Despite this, I still wasn’t particularly impressed. I didn’t like the way the store looked or how dirty the tables were. I also didn’t find the taste of the tater tots to be mind blowing. Prices were ok I guess. ~$ 4 for a couple of tots that will fill you up because of the grease. Oh well :(

Its the shake. Its the shake they put on. It just makes the damn fries so good. I mean, you might like fries before you’ve been to the Potato Corner. You might even LOVE fries perhaps. But you won’t want them inside of you in quick succession like an orgy of Mr. Potato Heads in a cheap budget porno. The Chili BBQ is best, but Cheddar is also delicious. Come here. NAOW.

Was craving fries, so I stopped by here. I ordered the original shoestring fries with sour cream and chili bbq. I personally like the fries itself. Taste a little like McDonald’s fries. Each fries was coated with the seasoning. It taste pretty good. These were both my favorite flavor. But you can taste the msg in the seasoning which is why it’s addicting.

With about 6 different seasonings(you can mix them) and 6 different forms of fried potatoes, Potato Corner is one of the best snack/munchies joint in Chinatown. Unlike Pommes Frities, Potato Corner is all about the seasonings rather the sauces(though they do offer a few sauces for additional cost). We ordered the Parmesan and Garlic plus Chili BBQ seasonings with loopy aka curly fries. The fries were crispy fresh and the seasonings were on point delicious. This place is mainly a take out spot. Very minimal sitting area and only 1 available chair!

Yesterday was my second time here and I settled for the mega sized loopy fries with chili BBQ. This is the third store in New York City that specializes in selling fries(the others being Pomme Frites and the Pomme Frites ripoff where 2 Bros used to be in St. Marks). The store itself is actually pretty small. There’s also no air conditioner for those hot summer days, so I really don’t know how those employees can stand being there with the fryer and the hot weather. As for the fries itself, they weren’t good and they weren’t bad. It was however, unnecessarily salty. The portion size for its price is pretty worth it though. Would I be back? I’ll take my chances.

Got some mega tater tots and plain baked potato. The tater tots were very good. I was about to add onto the rain with my tears when I finished the last one. Next time I will definitely order giga tater tots. I would say that this is probably the only fast food that I would come back for because the tater tots are tasty. The plain baked potato was pretty plain, I guess next time I should choose a non-plain type like sour cream & chives or chili cheese but I don’t think I’ll order any baked potato from here again. As the name of the store suggests, it’s at the corner of the street. It’s relatively easy to find. The seating area was kind of dirty so I have to subtract 0.5 stars for that. Overall, I was filled up and I was satisfied with my meal.

Came here cause I was craving for their chili BBQ. The customer service was decent and workers there are friendly. The downsides of this store is that the fries weren’t really that worth it. I got the regular giga fries which was equivalent to a medium mcdonalds fries and I paid about $ 6.5 after tax. The store itself was small, there were only 3 seats towards the window and customers who do take outs always sits there so they wouldn’t stand while waiting which is unfair to those who wants to stay to eat. What I didn’t like was that they use tissue paper to try to cheat their customer’s servings. The tissue paper takes up space, which makes your serving less. Id probably come back if I still remember how the chili BBQ tastes like.

I can’t even expalin how excited I am to have potato corner in New York. The first time I had it was in the Philippines, imagine my excitement when me and my friend were Unilocaling and he stumbled upon this potato paradise. To fast forward, it didn’t take long for me to drag him here and shove the fries in his mouth. I already love fries so when you add different kinds of amazing flavors to it then what do you think happens? It is carb heaven. Each bite wouldn’t make you feel guilty, but just filled with satisfying burst of juicy flavor. Anway enough of my weird descriptions, they have so many flavors: cheese, bbq, sour cream and onion(my favorite), cinnamon, etc. It is a hole in the wall so there aren’t a lot of seats, but your in Chinatown. Take your fries to go, window shop, walk around, do whatever you want all while holding them glorious fries.

The potatoes were already fried and cooked. The staff to re-fried them, seasoned it in a bucket and shook it to coat the fries. It was a disappointment eating them. It didn’t taste very fresh. It was extra oily and the seasoning was way too strong. I got the garlic parmesan and the garlic overpowered everything. My breath smelled more like garlic for the next two hours more than anything. There are no seating area. It’s a very small store. The staffs are friendly. The wait for the order of fries took forever. It looks like they serve a lot of fries but it only looks like a lot because of that piece of parchment paper placed right underneath the fries. If you lift that parchment paper of fries up, you can clearly see how steep it is.

What is this potato corner business in Chinatown?! And it has English signs?! And the workers there speak English! Oh, and their fries are actually good!!! You choose: 1) Size — they start at «jumbo», which is a small, and then mega, and then giga(?!) 2) Cut — they have curly fries, chips, shoe strings, sweet potato waffle fries, [fancy named cuts], and most importantly, TATERTOTS 3) Seasoning — garlic parmesan, cheddar, BBQ, etc, and SOURCREAMANDONION So I got their sour cream and onion tater tots and it satisfied my cravings for a random snack in the middle of a cold winter night.

Yay! Stumbled upon Potato Corner last night after leaving a terrible meal at Pellegrino’s with the boyfriend. Because neither of us could stomach the terrible food, we were STARVING. Enter Potato Corner with it’s sickeningly bright lights and promise of fried goodies. We were in heaven. Tater tots, curly fries, sweet potato waffle fries, shoe strings, buffalo wings, and all the greasy food your heart desires smothered in sodium-laden seasonings such as chili cheese and sour cream and onion. Really, what more could you ask for? Next time I’ve had way too much fun on a night out, I will be back here to order a GIGA size of fries smothered in parmesan & garlic. Yes, I said GIGA. No, I didn’t make that up.
