Pommes les is a small dessert shop. I ordered an green apple yogurt drink and a mango pudding. I loved the green apple yogurt but however the cap was too big for the cup. Every time I pick it up the cap falls out or when I try to drink the drink it spills out from one corner. The mango pudding was really sweet. I didn’t really enjoy it. Maybe other flavors would have been better. I prefer things that are less sweet so maybe it’s just my taste. Besides the food, the staff was very nice and helpful when we asked for help. The bottles that they make the pudding in is very cute. You’re allow to keep them but if you return them you get 25 cent off your next order. If you check into Unilocal you get a free topping on your crêpe. I’ve never tried their crêpe but I sure will come and to try it !

i was lured in by the excellent Unilocal reviews but ehhh, I walked out pretty dissapointed. The black sesame pudding left much to be desired. My wife picked up a mango bubble tea with tapioca pearls which also didn’t quite exactly taste right. I’m assuming people come here more for the crepes, but I didn’t get a chance to try them.

Cute bottles and very attractive colors but that’s about it. I honestly don’t know why places charge so much for pudding. I was actually surprised to discover that this place is a hole in the wall because I noticed that they sell crepes in addition to puddings so I had expected this place to be bigger. The cashier was not overly friendly but didn’t give off a rude attitude either. So I got the black sesame pudding for myself and the red bean for my friend. The black sesame was not good… It tasted really watered down and was definitely lacking in flavor. It did have the signature graininess of black sesame desserts but that itself did not make up for the lack of flavor. My friend let me try a spoonful of the red bean and I found it to be much better than the black sesame. It was much more flavorful and was spot on in terms of matching the flavor of traditional Asian red bean desserts. Both puddings had a watery consistency even though I had kept them in the fridge. Personally, I prefer thicker puddings like panna cotta as opposed to watery ones like these. It is very easy to get lured in to Pomme because the cuteness of the pudding makes them hard to resist. However, as I had anticipated prior to visiting this place, the pudding was not that good and is definitely not worth the price($ 3+ for one pudding tax included). I already got my bottle so I won’t be back lol.

Came here for a quick snack but left disappointed. It wasn’t expensive at $ 3 a pudding but I felt as though the mango one was made from the instant powder you buy at the Asian market for $ 2 that would provide 10x the portion amount. Kudos for the cute jars, but pudding wise I was unimpressed.

I like this place(a lot). The cookie butter bacon crêpe is so good! Seamless delivery is always quick and pretty easy. I had a pretty awkward experience here yesterday that I thought could have been handled better. I came in with my service dog(they are ok with that) and while we were waiting for my crêpe to be done, the dog was watching something. I followed the dog’s eyes and there were cockroaches crawling out of the refrigerator vent thing in front of the counter. My friend was super freaked out, got his crêpe and left while I was waiting with the dog for the man to finish my crêpe while cockroaches crawled on the floor. The guy working apologized and was nice about it, but it was really awkward since I didn’t really want it anymore but it happened as he was finishing up and after we had paid. It’s the LES and there’s construction everywhere. I run a business with no food a block away and we get water bugs(the big cockroaches), I get it. What I didn’t get was why they were stayed open after and why he didn’t ask me if I wanted a refund as I probably wouldn’t be eating the crêpe after I walked out, avoiding stepping on bugs. The crepes and bubble tea are always really good but I think the situation could have been handled a lot better. I mean, I will go back at some point just not today.

Another one of my favorite places to grab a sweet treat. I’ve always come here late at night when the pudding selection is very limited. However, I’ve always been pleased with what I’ve tried. So far, I’ve had the matcha, black sesame, and strawberry. My favorite is definitely the black sesame. It’s not too sweet, and the black sesame flavor is very strong. The mini glass jars are also super cute, and you can get a tiny discount if you bring it back washed. They also have a punch card system. Also, avoid getting anything else besides the pudding. My friend tried the mango bubble tea, which was beyond disgusting. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area. Cute, unique deserts(referring only to the pudding).

It was Saturday night and my friends were knocked out in the hotel room. I wasn’t but I was extremely bored. So I decided to visit Pomme Les and Sweet Button Desserts. My über driver said that the location was easy to find amidst all the walking traffic that we kept having to stop for. Pomme les is a block or two down from sweet buttons and across the street from wolf nights. I went here and got almost 3 of everything green tea pudding, red bean, cookies and cream and tofu pudding. Unfortunately those were the only flavors that were left when I had gotten there. There is a small sitting area for a few people so I was lucky that there was no one there as I was waiting for my über ride. I also got the salmon and avocado crêpe with a chai bubble tea. THECREPEWAS !@#$-ING DELICIOUS. Crepes tend to be hyped up nowadays, but the savory crepes here are crazily insane. They are huge and pack a huge punch of flavor. Worth the try when you are up late and your friends are not sure of what to do.

Great crepes, we stopped here on our way home after dinner and drinks, having looked up what was on offer in the area. The crêpe batter was thin as it should be and bonus points for having black sesame as both puddings and options for the crepes! Having ordered a s’mores crêpe and a cookie butter and banana crêpe, we were also entitled to a free pudding with a check in offer, score! The crepes were warm and the filling covered every inch. Sceptical about the s’mores I was surprised it really did remind me of the treat(unlike a certain Starbucks frozen drink). There was certainly a lot of filling in both and we regretted not walking out with napkins… Pudding is untested and still in the fridge, but if we were staying longer, we’d probably visit again!

Not sure about with all the four stars rating. I have to say that i was so excited to try this place and after trying it. Disappointing! It was just okay. We got the red bean and green tea pudding. Both of them were below just okay. Pros: Affordable Somewhat unique Con: Missing flavor and desserts was just okay.

SOCUTE Also a plus becuase they accept cards. The green tea pudding was just what I was looking for. It is sweet but not overly sweet, light and refreshing. I definitely want to try the other flavors when I come back(black sesame and tofu). The jars are so cute and the atmosphere is also adorable. Maybe its the Asian in me that really wants to rate this place higher than other people woud. What can I say, everyones taste is biased.

Tiny, super CUTE dessert shop! Christie L. and I were craving boba after dinner in chinatown and gravitated towards this place after seeing the cute little puddings. We were surprised at how small this place is, but luckily we went pretty late and the stools/couch on the side of the shop were wide open for us to sit and enjoy our dessert. All the workers were nice and accommodating! Unilocal check in gets you a free pudding with a $ 10 purchase, so we each got almond milk tea boba and a pudding. Almond milk tea– super SWEET. Chewy boba and good flavor, but too sweet at the end. Little baby puddings are adorable and you get to keep the jar! You also get 25 cents off if you bring it back. Too bad the actual pudding was lack luster :(We got the green tea and the black sesame. I liked the green tea better– it tasted like green tea ice cream and wasn’t overly sweet. The black sesame was good, but it didn’t have a strong flavor. It actually tasted a little like cookies and cream to us? We almost thought we chose the wrong flavor They lured us in with their novelty jars, and I’m glad we got to bring it home! But not sure that I’d come back for more. It was a good place to try though!

I had Pomme bookmarked for months. And I finally came here, on a cold, snowy Tuesday night, after a restaurant week dinner. My friend and I were in the area, so we drove over here to grab a quick snack! These puddings are so cute in their little jars! And they make perfect gifts too! I bought 5 of the puddings: red bean, green tea, black sesame, mango and cookie n cream. I wanted to try the tofu one. but they appeared to be all sold out on that. I also had 2 bubble teas, one was Chai tea and the other was Thai tea. Both drinks weren’t too sweet and the tapioca bubbles tasted good too, just the right consistency. Pomme being all the way in the LES, it’s quite a trip for me. but to get my fix of delicious pudding, it’s worth it!

— That cookies and cream pudding was the shiznit. I can wait to go back and try more flavors — They hate hot thai iced tea, which I thought was good, but it got incredibly sweet as it cooled down — They’re open late — The soundtrack was bumpin — There are multiple accessible outlets #phonecharge — It’s very tiny

Black sesame, check. Super cute jars with cute labeling, check. With those two things in tow– we were sure that we were in for a treat! The pudding here is strange though, more tofu texture than anything, and the black sesame was too subtle. We couldn’t eat more than a couple spoonfuls — the texture too offputting. If it wasn’t for the reusable jar, I’d be sadder about wasting $ 3 on this spot. Maybe the milk tea is better, but won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Pomme LES is a tiny shop with a few seats along the wall(with tables that can be used as chairs) located in the heart of the Lower East Side. We tried going to a couple ice cream places, but they were all closed because it was New Years Day. Pomme LES was open! Pomme LES’s «niche» is their house-made cute little jars of pudding. Located in the cooler when you first walk in, there are all sorts of flavors including black sesame, tofu, green tea, red bean, chocolate banana, strawberry(…and the list goes on). They also have a full menu of crepes from around $ 6 and up. Funny, because Creperie is literally across the street. I opted for the jar of $ 3 pudding(a whopping 5% off if you check in on Unilocal) and chose their«new» red bean flavor as my pick. Sadly, the red bean didn’t even taste like red bean. I expected it to be somewhat similar to red bean ice cream flavor, but nope. You could taste the bean texture, but that was about it. Also, the pudding is more of a thick, gelatinous texture somewhat similar to panna cotta rather than jello pudding consistency. Overall, there wasn’t enough flavor and it just tasted like I was eating gelationous cream, to be honest. I wouldn’t call this a relaxing place to hang out — hip-hop music is constantly blasting out of their Samsung speakers.

Because I wanted to show my face, I wasn’t able to score their lunch special(2 bucks less for more food; apparently the online menu was different than the 3 different paper ones on the counter, none of which matched the abbreviated one written in marked on the glass display, which confused the sole staffer). Because I used an Amazon Local $ 10 voucher*, I wasn’t able to get a loyalty punch card(fortunately I wasn’t forced to get a drink nor dine in at the tiny area). Went with the black sesame s’mores crêpe(whipped cream was a bad, messy recommendation that distracted from a decent crêpe) and a red bean pudding(including the raved-about but really not that practically shaped nor topped serving vessels). Solid products but a poorly executed business. *The email subject line says Creperie LES, but the deal clearly said Pomme so I hoped for the best(they are on the same block) FYI to add to the inconsistencies, per the listing, they awkwardly open 1.5 hrs later on Fridays.

Pudding time! Crepes aside, drinks aside, their puddings are actually the star of their store. Comes in a variety of flavor: Mango, Green Tea, Cookies & Creams, Chocolate Banana, Red Bean, Black Sesame, Tofu, Strawberry, Coffee and more. I only got to try the Mango, Green Tea, Cookies & Creams, Red Bean and Black Sesame. Mango was a tad too sweet; green tea had the perfect amount of subtle green tea bitterness; cookies & cream tasted like chocolate; red bean is actually pretty good, not too sweet and has a good hint of red bean; and finally the black sesame reminded me of vanilla I’m not sure how to describe the texture because it’s not really american pudding, but more of a Chinese gelatin«pudding.» It’s unique but not outstanding, and at $ 3 a pop, I would only buy it once in a while :) Oh and the pudding comes in a very cute reusable bottle! Can’t wait to repurpose it.

The small jars of pudding are such darlings and they certainly hit the spot if you’re looking for a little sweet treat. Pun intended? Sweet and savory crepes are available if you’re peckish. You can’t go wrong with smoked salmon nor can you go wrong with strawberry and nutella. A little on the pricy side for the crepes but I’d rather get a crêpe than a burger any day. Mango and coffee are the best choices when it comes to the puddings. Both black sesame and green tea missed the flavor mark. They were both too milky and you can barely taste those notes. Quite disappointed, I am. Quite.

The package of the pudding made me want to come here, because the jar is so cute and can be reused! My friend and I got here around 2 something and half the puddings were already sold out which really upset me because I wanted to try black sesame and tofu. All that was left was green tea, strawberry, mango, and chocolate banana. We purchased them all expected chocolate banana. There pudding were good, tried the strawberry and green tea so far and they were just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. Also, when you buy 5 you get 1 for free! I don’t know if they’re suppose to give you a stamp card since they had one posted but I didn’t get one, and I already purchased 4 so if I would’ve purchase another one next time. Oh wells, not a big deal.

Looking for crepes and pudding? This is the place for you. However, this review is just for the pudding since I haven’t tried the crepes yet. For $ 3 each, you can get delicious flavored pudding in a glass jar! They have 6 different flavors: mango, strawberry, black sesame, coffee, tofu and green tea. I’ve tried the mango, black sesame, tofu and green tea. Out of those four, tofu is probably my favorite. It tastes similar to the chinese tofu flower. Mango was a bit too sweet for me. Green tea and black sesame were both yummy! I love the consistency of all the puddings. It’s not your typical textured pudding. It has a flan-like or panna cotta consistency. The glass jars are also super cute and re-usable! FYI, they don’t have a lot of seats here since it’s a small place. Probably fits 10 people max.
