I love this spot. Fast delivery, cheap slices, and the best pizza spot in the area. They have wheat slices too.

I heart Pizza Park. I’ve only ever ordered delivery… and always a large cheese pizza. I have to say it tastes best the same day(but that doesn’t stop me from hitting the leftovers… will power fail). This is my go-to pizza spot when I’m craving classic NY pizza. And I’ve pretty much tried out all the pizza joints around Midtown East/UES. Delivery is fast. No complaints!

I recently discovered that Pizza Park will no longer deliver to my office, which is a very good thing, because I will not give them any more business. I will preface this review by noting that I was a loyal Pizza Park through Seamless customer for many months. In fact, it was the only pizza place in Midtown East from which I would order for a calzone fix. The service was never great. The orders took way too long to reach my office(read an hour +) and when I would call after the hour mark to check on the status, the restaurant staff member with whom I spoke was always gruff, even rude at times. There were a couple of occasions when an order of garlic knots was missing, but when I complained, the restaurant did ultimately include an extra few in my next order. There was also one time when they claimed they never received my order even though I received a confirmation through Seamless, and then when I called to complain that my order had not arrived, they claimed to have no knowledge of it. They then wanted me to sit on hold trying to get in touch with someone from Seamless, which has a notoriously understaffed customer service department. Before I get to the most egregious offense of this restaurant, I will explain how much I did love their food. The garlic knots were crispy, the calzones gooey and enormous, the veggie pizza rolls chock-full-of-vegetables(maybe a bit too heavy on the eggplant), and the peppers and eggs heroes(my favorite) were stuffed full of usually perfectly-cooked scrambled eggs and fresh red or green peppers. The food was an excellent value. Most unfortunately, there was a serious food quality blunder that affected the last calzone I ordered from Pizza Park and made this order my last one. I cut into the calzone and much to my chagrin, there was a long piece of some kind of string(see pictures). Quite a disagreeable surprise to find hidden in one’s food. Pizza Park you disappointed me.

My first taste of pizza as a NYC resident and it was great. I got two slices — one white and one mushroom. From the stained brick walls, the delivery guys frantically running in and out, and whom I presume was the owner yelling at everyone this place was everything I imagined a New York pizza joint to be. I’ll be back!

Pizza Park is dangerously within walking distance from my apartment, which means a 12:30 am snack becomes almost inevitable, especially when said snack is a bubbling, delicious plain cheese slice doused with red pepper flakes and garlic powder. Based on my own appetite, one slice is absolutely perfect, two slices is pushing it, and 2.5 is a harbinger of pain and 24 hours of bloat and thirst. I like to take a walk on the wild side, so I always end up eating 2 slices. I tip my hat to the reviewer who needs 3 to be full. The only thing better than the cheese slice is the one covered in mozzarella with vodka sauce — a little on the soupy, messy side, but so, so good with the crusty dough. I believe Pizza Park has the same iteration with penne noodles on top, but that kind of carb-on-carb is too much for me. There was another specialty slice that I tried, with bits of rubbery chicken on top. Stick with the basic cheese slice for maximum tastiness and bang for your buck. Pizza Park is a lot cleaner and brighter than your average, street-level 99-cent pizza store, with seating off to the side and friendly guys behind the counter who are always happy to point out which pies are fresh from the oven. Safe to say this has become a regular in the rotation of places around me.

The pizzas are good for sure! The basic slice, which is a thin-crust cheese pizza, was delicious at $ 2.75 a slice. The thicker crust or ones with various toppings on them are between $ 4 – 5. It’s a bit steep for a slice of pizza since you really need 3 to be kind of full. In any case, there is decent seating here and the décor is actually kind of nice in here. Their menu includes pastas and other Italian goodies. Definitely one of the better quality pizza places around here.

Went here for Lunch with my little brother after seeing the ratings on Unilocal. I had a buffalo chicken slice and a pepperoni slice. The crust on both was great. My only complaint is that the buffalo slice needs more sauce.

Crunchy great pizza. I especially like their grandma slice. Its a little place but great for take out. Staff is always quick and attentive. Sauce is salty and sweet but perfect balance. I always pick up bc delivery takes forever!

Great late night snack place! I love that they stay open late. They definitely don’t close at 11PM, as is currently listed on Unilocal. We’ve gone in around 1AM and they’re definitely still open. Prices are decent, and the pizzas are delicious. Each slice is generous, and they sometimes throw in complementary garlic knots! My favorite would be the chicken parmesan broccoli pizza!

Best pizza in town here. But, I ordered a veggie hot hero for lunch today & was really disappointed at the lack of attention while making this sandwich. The sandwich was only partially edible after I pulled out huge amounts of cooked spinach out. Even after that — the sandwich was so soggy that I just lost my appetite. A few pieces of crunchy zucchini & marinara sauce with cheese…10 $ for a barely edible sandwich just wasn’t right.

Pizza Park had solid NY pizza, but I’ve definitely had better in this vast pizza-city. I would say if you are going to get pizza here, try the vodka-margarita. That was my favorite, because the mozz tasted very fresh and was super-stretchy(which suggests it’s pure non-processed mozz!) Well, this is a must for any decent NYC pizza place though! I appreciated the hot, homemade tomato sauce and drizzling of addicting vodka sauce on the pizza. This resulted in a well-crafted classic favorite. The spinach and mushroom slice is also quite good, and on whole wheat crust as well! The best part about this slice was that the spinach was very fresh and generous. The whole slice had a good amount of spinach, which made me feel less guilty about eating pizza. Lastly, we split a garlic knots(a token of my childhood!) among friends. This was mediocre at best, because the bread tasted slightly stale. Mehhhh, sadness! I do love my garlic knots though…

Literally one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in NY. Visit here frequently as my mom is in Sloan Kettering Hospital. Super Yummy! Try the chicken cutlet and Salad slice!

I love this place. I also love the guys who work there. They are so nice! The whole wheat pizza is worth checking out if you’re still looking for somewhere that offers it. It’s really good, and they offer a wide variety of topping options. I’ve never met a slice here I don’t like. Garlic knots are delicious too. Service is always good, quick delivery I never have to worry about my pizza being cold when it gets to my apartment.

Was this place called pizza park or pizza mediocre? After the misleading Unilocal reviews at 4.5 stars, this place reminds me of a relationship between Rex Ryan and mark Sanchez. It’s been mediocre ATBEST for quite some time now. Maybe it was good in mommas kitchen, but certainly not for the pros. And people are still supporting it whole heartedly as if it’s a Tom Brady. Sorry Unilocal reviewers, it’s not cool to be Rex Ryan nor is it cool to be cool. Or maybe these Unilocalers suffer from a case of Eli manning. It had its time, it used to be good-great even! But not it’s a lowely sack of shit(pun intended.) it’s time has passed it needs to retire. NOWTHEPIZZA Cold, mediocre, and extremely unsatisfied. I left all pieces of pizza half eaten. I tried the cheese, the marguerite, and the chicken and bacon. They all sucked. There was a bum half way blacked out on the street, I gave him the piece of the cheese half eaten. He took one bite, slammed it on the ground, and then asked if I was«serious?» I felt bad. I had to buy the man a Gatorade. Do yourself a favor, if you’re from out of town like me and want good NY pizza, hell even any pizza, there’s a Hut Pizza on the corner of 3rd ave and 72nd. This place doesn’t hold a flame to hut pizza. Or maybe it was Pizza Hut.

Really, really friendly staff! Ended up here based on high reviews. Pizza was below average. Mushroom and spinach– blah with very little flavorless sauce. Whole wheat crust was like super crispy cardboard. just terrible. Not greasy though, so that was a plus. Fiancé’s maragrite was blah, he loved the lasagna slice though. Nice counter guy recommended that one, and he was right– the bite I had of it was very tasty!(w/regular crust).

I was having such a headache at work deciding what to get for lunch(lol), went on Unilocal and discovered Pizza Park! I was really captivated by the photos of the pizza and knew that I just had to try it out! I got here at around 2 pm and there were quite a few people eating inside. This place is a step up from your regular cramped and dirty pizzeria. The service for the most part is nice and the tables are really clean. Here’s what I got: Sausage slice– Was not really a fan because the sausage is sliced so thinly that you can barely taste it. Vodka slice– Much better than the sausage slice! It was so tasty! I ended up paying $ 8.25 for both slices which is way too overpriced but it is in the UES so what can you expect? This is a pretty good option for lunch if you work at NYP since it is close by and the pizza is pretty good. I probably will be back to try more flavors of the pizza!

Their décor might not be the most luxurious, but no-frills Nino’s serves some of the city’s BEST NY-style pizza. I would place Nino’s in the same world as Grimaldi’s. The cheese is fresh, the bottom crispy, and crust absolutely delicious. I usually don’t like crust but at Nino’s I devour the entire slice. My boyfriend and I also tried the Stuffed Shells and it was stuffing and delicious. They give you a huge platter soaked in tomato sauce and cheese with a side of garlic bread.
