Quaint cozy wine bar with inside seating as well as patio area with cushy seating — enclosed when it’s colder and open now that it’s nicer outside. Friendly host servers and bartenders and I enjoyed Both wines — the Malbec and Spanish blend. Great spot to meet friends or a date.

Nice place, down the steps and has a basement like feel at first, but you get used to it. Food is decent, $ 12 Chicken Tartine, $ 8 red pepper spread, wine is overpriced as is customary. There was a after work crowd of girls laughing loudly, was glad when they left. Overall it’s pretty good place. Small though, not likely to get a table, the bar is good enough though.

Very cute ambiance for date night. Better for drinks than food. I didn’t really like the trio of dips(regular hummus was bland and roasted pepper hummus was awful but the artichoke dip was actually very good). The tuna tartar was very good. My date got the tomato and basil panini, which he liked but I thought the bread: innards ratio was off(too much bread).

Charming wine bar with good food and a very good wine selection, where I left behind my credit card(damn Chase Sapphire card — it looks pretty, but disappears in the check billfold), which they held onto for a good 24 hours+ before I noticed it and called to ask after it. The service was excellent when I was there, and obviously super excellent after my visit. I’d say 3.5 stars for the food(the tuna tartare and the arugula and beet salad were standouts) and 4 stars for the wine(good selection, would love to see a few more interesting Rosés), but 5 stars and beyond for the excellent service, which thankfully extended beyond my actual visit as a paying customer.

It was a good light tapas meal overall. Very, very extensive wine list, and a fantastic variety of cheeses and charcuterie. We sat outside in a heated space, which was surprisingly comfortable. Good service, attentive but not pushy. Overall really enjoyed it!

Came here to meet a date for drinks and appetizers and really enjoyed my experience. Sat at one of the high tables and ordered a glass of cabernet along with three cheeses and a flight of their bruschettas. Plenty of food for two people. Really liked the atmosphere and the service was attentive! Would recommend.

Came here for some wine with friends. Cute atmosphere and was pretty busy on a weekend night. My friends and I each got wine flights. The waitress was pretty knowledgeable about the wines offered and enjoyed the different choices that I got. Good deal for the wine flights and definitely will come back to try their food and some more wine in the future!

we arrived here on a Thursday evening so excited about wine and great tasting platters. I decided to have a Spanish wine which was something I’ve been waiting to try for a long time. We decided to part take in the 3 for 15 bucks. We got two cheese manchengo and a tasty smooth one and then the chorizo because they were out of the other ones I wanted. The chorizo was a little different then I remember having in the past, but it was ok. We also decided to get the artichoke; very bland and not tasty at all. The service was on point and that is why I decided to rate them two more stars. When I travel around the NY/NJ/and other boroughs and get tasty food I think of places that I don’t really care for and this was one of them. I can defiantly say I have had a lot better. I think seating outside gave them the other stars

Average with below average stuffed grape leaves… They should be called grape leaf cigarettes because that’s what they look like. It’s hard to F up a charcuterie plate if you have a good vendor so no bonus points for that, which was actually really good. The hummus was meh but the roasted red pepper dip thing was good. Wasn’t paying too much to prices but I think it’s pretty average for this sort of place in Manhattan. Ambience is okay it was quiet but probably because it was a Monday. The outdoor dining area in the front is a hug plus except con Edison was doing work right in front of it so we opted for an indoor seat. I would NOT go back hungry but would definitely go back for wine IF I happened to be in the area. Not a bad place just not impressive… Very meh

Food was outstanding — service was terrible. Ordered 3 for 15 cheese dishes and than 2 larger dishes to split with my boyfriend. They completely forgot to bring out the 3 cheese dishes and only served the 2 larger dishes. Also waited about 10 mins for somebody to come over to ask if I wanted my empty drink refilled. I give the food an A+ but I probably wouldn’t return due to poor customer service.

First, the place screams«date night» for the romantics among us. It is cozy and small with limited seating but great atmosphere. The tapas or appetizer portion appetizers are artfully presented, and the best of all, great assortments of cheeses and finger foods.

Decent place for tapas. Its not too expensive either. While it is a wine bar we didnt get any wine since we were mostly hung over and others don’t drink. Anyways They have a ton of wine on display so you should probably try that. We had zucchini pancakes to start off, they were fairly good but not incredible. We also had croquettes and they were great, very yummy. Also other Unilocalers are not exaggerating when they say this place gives you a ton of pita bread. We didnt get hummus but they did give us a lot of bread with olive oil for dip as well as olives. I had the burger which was decent. The aioli sauce was interesting but better for fries so get that on the side. They also give a hefty portion of avocado for the bun so that was nice. I would also say the service is decent too, but food took a bit longer to come out than I would like, but the apps came quickly. This place is fairly quiet too and low key. Oh they gave our birthday girl a free slice of chocolate cake which was delish.

Went here with some friends for to grab a drink after a concert we went to nearby. The host was very nice and seated us quite quickly. Very nice wine selection, and I’d say the prices were typical(10 for basic glasses and upwards of $ 18 for the higher end stuff). They actually had a pretty decent tap beer selection as well — a few stapes like Stella, but also some good craft beers that our server says rotates pretty frequently. We didn’t have snacks /dinner so can’t comment on that — but everything that came by looked good! If in the area, would hit this place up again!

One of my favorite first date spots in the city. Can get a little noisy(–1 star) but the ambiance and sommelier’s selection makes this a nice spot to sit and chat. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

The Quick: A solid 3.5 tapas spot to enjoy with friends. The Details: The venue is very cute for a date or a classy girls night out. Everything was very good; nothing was outstanding but then again nothing was disappointing either. Overall a very lovely spot to get tapas and drinks with your friends. Although I’m not in a rush to return, I would not be opposed to it either. The Damage: I don’t exactly remember what we paid, we drink a lot and a lot and I remember thinking it was a little pricey compared to other happy hour/tapas spots.

Romantic & classy. Great food — we especially loved their cheese selection and their tuna tartar. I loved their music as well. This makes for an excellent date spot. I would definitely come back again!

I’m pretty impressed by this place. The atmosphere is extremely romantic and the food is delicious, although a tad overpriced. Cheese + Meat plate(4) — yummmy meat although Pierre Loti is bit stingy on the amount of cheese & meat they will provide. I’d say it’s a good portion for 2 people, possibly for 4. Seafood Pasta(4) — delicious! lots of seafood, great portion of pasta and a perfect portion of sauce.

Great little quaint wine bar below street level. It’s pretty tiny and can feel a little cramped inside(go figure, it’s NYC), but they have outside seating with heaters that allows for a little more elbow room. Wines were all delicious, and they have a good selection of spirits if you decide to stay and let the night get a little wild. Mediterranean dips plate was really great — you get to choose 3 and comes with tons of pita. All of the dips were super flavorful and well prepared. They also have a great assortment of cheese and meats that you can BYO-platter with. Perfect place for small bites and a intimate glass or 2 of wine. Service is pretty slow, but they’ll get to you at some point. Interesting that all the servers/bartenders here are Turkish — or at least they were on the night we went.

Decent wines and drinks. Aloof service from a waitress that was more interested in chatting with her co-workers than pouring us water, bringing us more drinks, asking how our drinks were, etc. Nice ambiance but nothing special.

I love the ambiance at this place — dark wood, small tables crowded together, dim lighting. It would be great for a date. As it was, I came with two friends. Great selection of wines and large pours. We split five glasses between the three of us since we didn’t want to commit to two each! We only ordered hummus, but everything else looked and smelled delicious. I’d love to come back here on a date.

I was catching up with a bunch of girl friends and decided on this place after having gone to the Midtown East location. They only have 2 pages of food items(the rest wine) which made it easier to order for the group. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of dishes come with arugula salad on the side. I forgot that and ordered the arugula and beet salad… so much salad! Bill came out to around $ 35 per person… this is my new go-to place for groups. :-) Our reservation was at 7:30… I think we left around 11 and were never rushed(it was also a Monday night).

Definitely one of my favorite new finds, even if it has been around for a little while. I came here several times, both on a date with my husband and with my best friend. Both times, it was great. Come here for the wine, the great appetizers, awesome cheese plate and fantastic service. Leave with your wallet slightly lighter but with a warm belly! It’s a cozy atmosphere and while often crowded, you can still maintain conversations with folks with ease. Definitely on my list of places to frequent often! Preferably on pay day :)
