Was heading to a starbucks to study but stopped by here for a snack. I ended up just staying here and studying for 3 hours. Starbucks’ wifi is At&T/google run and was being really weird so my phone and laptop couldn’t connect. HOWEVER, at pie face, they had their own private wifi so once they give you the password, it works perfectly GOODWIFI! Food: I was so sad they didn’t have the chunky steak, but i got the apple crumble. WOW that was really tasty. the crumble part was sweet and crumbly. and the filling was delicious too. I wish it was larger. I would definitely come back to try some other pies and study.

Got two small pies with a friend. The cheesecake one was very nice, and the lemon one less so but still acceptable. The lemon one had a weird taste to it and it wasn’t strongly lemoney tasting, or at least according to me. I give four stars because it is a cute place to come by and grab something quick with a coffee to relax. I love the location and all the windows that let me look outside as I lounge. If you’re looking for top notch desserts though, then this is not your place. If you want a general café with low prices then it will work for you.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Seems that it was an employee’s birthday. A small, but impressively loud, crowd of people entered, had cake, party hats and balloons. And music. Very, very loud music. Thus, everyone’s conversation had to stop while the employees celebrated. About half the customers just got up and left. I asked if they could turn it down; they did, until I got back to my chair, and then they resumed. This was a display of terribly unprofessional staff, and horrendous management. If this is how they treat customers, I can only imagine what they do with their food.

Went in for an egg breakfast pie at 7:30am and was told they didn’t have any pies today. I could get coffee, but no pies. Isn’t the name PIE face? However then another guy said«oh we have all these pies», as he pulls out a big tray of breakfast pies… unfortunately those were for special order only.

pretty pricey for snack food quite filling but not filling enough to be a meal but more than enough for snack. It is HOT so be careful! its good but not worth the price. I had to add ketchup to one of them for flavor. yes… sadly The stuffed pizza is the one you have to watch out for the temperature… burnt myself from the cheese, but its all forgiven… i still love you cheese

Perhaps this place was just settling in. I’ve come here for lunch twice now and haven’t had a problem getting a seat. They now have 2 servers, so they can’t really mess up service. I wouldn’t come back if I didn’t like their pies so much. You can taste the red wine in the chunky steak and there’s real butter in the crust. The Tandoori vegetable is surprisingly more flavorful and spicy than their Thai chicken. And try their iced coffee. I thought Australian coffee was a fluke, with so many coffee places populating the area everyone’s trying to distinguish themselves, but I found their coffee quite tasty and unique.

I’m giving this place four stars solely on the food itself. My breakfast bacon, egg & cheese was delicious. However, I was hoping this location could be a nice chill out spot to read and do work over a nice pie and coffee, but they need to make a better playlist! Listening to dub step does not make for a place I want to stay longer than 15 minutes. Tone down the playlist and get some nice chairs(I hate stools) and this could be my go-to!

Bought 3 mini’s for $ 6. Loved each one. Chunky steak was my favorite with Philly cheese coming in a close second. I was a virgin to this chain restaurant and I was not impressed with the lack of patients of help the staff offered. Hard to get good help! Like the food though.

I came here for the first time with my girlfriend after a stroll around union square. We decided to get three sweet pies for $ 9. We got the coconut custard, apple crumble, and blueberry fillings. The coconut custard by far is my favorite. The custard has a strong yet sweet and savory taste. The apple crumble was really goods too, the top part was made perfectly. The blueberry was not a favorite of mine by it was still pretty good.

Super friendly staff and delicious pies! Our staff recommended the meat pizza pie and mini apple pie combo. We added smashed potato and gravy on our meat pizza pie. oh so delicious! Definitely a good size snack for a couple of people or a good lunch Best part is the cute faces on pies. next time I want the steak pie!

Pie Face… Please come to North Carolina. PLEASE. I’ve always perfered pie over the cupcakes fad and this place is my wonderland. They serve a variety of savory and sweet pies, as well as coffee, tea and other lunch foods. But trust me when I say: get the pies. You won’t regret it! I had the lemon and pumpkin pies which were pretty large for the price and stuffed with filling! Both were gone in about five minutes and my sweet-tooth was conquered! My friends enjoyed their pies as well, and my friend from the city explained that the meat pies were even better! I hope to be able to go back one day and try them… Or maybe by some miracle they’ll expand out of NYC.

Flaky pie crust + delicious filling = flavor-gasm in my mouth! I had the steak pie and it was delicious! Great place to grab a bite! Can’t wait to try the other pies!

After seeing these pop up seemingly everywhere, decided to try some of the savory and sweet pies. Place is almost empty so was able to order immediately. Unfortunately most of the pies didn’t look to be available yet, especially the savory ones. Had to settle on a blueberry and apple crumble(they gave me regular apple instead, oh well). Pies are cute and all, but not great in flavor. No good balance between the filling and crust. The pies are especially sweet, but since I didn’t add any sugar to my coffee, it worked well. On the plus side — they have a couple of outlets so I was able to charge my phone. Just not terribly impressed by this place, I’ll stick to actual pie slices at a bakery.

Got a milkshake and an assortment of pies here. Milkshake was mediocre and the philly cheesesteak pie was my favorite.

Snagged a piece of one of Pieface’s chocolate lamingtons yesterday from the lobby table at my dorm and I felt like a little 5-year old again. I distinctly remember not liking them while I was growing up. but wow. That lamington was yummmmy. It was perfectly sweet and moist, not like those dry and crumbly ones that tease your eyes then disappoint your taste buds. Anyway, I don’t know if it was just me having a long day, or that particular slice being so darn good. I do know it’s enough for me to give this place 5 stars. Will be back Pieface, it’s been too long.

Guess I’m never going gluten free. Why was I introduced to savory pies? Damn you, Australia! This place is a great spot to stop in when you need a quick bite to eat in between the million things us New Yorkers are always in the middle of. They also have strong coffee! I popped in on a random weekday morning and grabbed their bacon and egg pie, which was DELISH! The service was lovely and they are open 24 hours! Um, and they have frequent pie-r cards :) Do it! Treat yo’self!

Lots of open space, which is a plus. Also seems like they have a larger variety but maybe it’s because of the open space. Great for a sit-down to study or meet a friend. Staff was also really friendly & helpful when my friends was ordering pies to go.

Awesome mini pies. Many flavors to choose from. Top favs: Thai Curry Chicken Philly Cheese Steak Blueberry Pie The pie flavors can run out quick, and it usually takes around 30 minutes for them to cook up another batch. Prices range from $ 3 — $ 5. Place can be crowded since it is so close to Union Square; seating can be hard to find. You will see some people on their laptops hogging the seats on the long table sometimes. Coffee seems to be endless? Since it’s self serve anyways. Great place for a quick bite or a full meal.

I couldn’t resist coming here. The exterior is so cute and the interior smells so good. The mini pies are a cute concept! They separate their pies into sweet and savory(both come in mini forms). They offer discounts if you buy more. I got the 3 sweet mini pies: pecan, apple, and pear. Wasn’t a fan of any of it. To be fair, I did not like sweet pies to begin with. So if you don’t like pies, this experience won’t change that. I do like savory pies. I tried their chicken and mushroom pie. I liked the first few bites but I wasn’t able to handle the rest. It was quite oily and a bit too savory. The chicken and mushrooms were delicious. The sauce made it overly savory. I enjoy how they make it convenient to eat by their packaging. However, after you consume the first half on the go, it is too difficult to eat the rest. I recommend eating in.
