I found a piece of steel wool in my chicken masala. It was scratching the back of my throat after I took a bite out of my food. Any restaurant that overlooks quality control like this should be shut down immediately by the Dept of Health! See picture posted.

it is good food, and trust me when i say good suff, now the NY attitude is the one that changes everything bc its not neccesary for someone to kinda insult me especially if am spending money in that place, so i would really not suggest this place, also theres alot of good pizzerias downtown and good ones like the on 26 Murray st so you need to commpetti a litle if you wana be called a pro

I had a slice of the pepperoni and a slice of the sausage pizza. Both were very good. I especially liked the crust which was even throughout. Fold in half and enjoy. Went to Nicks last night and was a little disappointed after reading all their positive reviews. If I lived out here, I would come back.

Excelente pizza! Buen lugar para comer en distrito financiero. Salimos a comer cerca del hotel que estábamos y nos encontramos con esta pizzería que volvimos más de una vez.

Great slices ready to be heated, eaten and washed down with cold drinks. Just what we were looking for a block from the Freedom Tower.

Decent enough pizza. They deliver to my job so that’s really the only reason I would order from them, nothing to their food otherwise.

I had the broccoli and mushrooms pizza. Good robust garlic flavor. The dining area is clean and the place is rather quiet. Still getting used to the NY attitudes…

We stopped by here while exploring the city. Glad we found this place. We were on a mission to have a true NY slice, NY bagel, and NY cheesecake on our trip. This business offered up great pizza and allowed us to cross pizza off our list. The slices were good and large. Prices were cheap but the pizza was a tad greasy. Not a deal breaker but just something we all noticed. However, if pizza isn’t your thing, they have lots of other pasta and antipasto dishes to choose from. Everything on the menu looked delicious. We would definitely come back.

Pizza choices were ample and service was quick. They get imaginative with the toppings. It was comparable to the other pizza places we tried in NYC.

Pizza is mediocre at best. It is below average compared to other spots in NYC at its price point. I believe if they did not have their prime location, they would doing well at all. Ive had a plain slice, veggie slice and mozzarella sticks here and the food/ingredients were not fresh. If you want good pizza, this is not the place to go. Its more of a place to go if you are starving and in a crunch for time

Very friendly staff, pizza and drinks all reasonably priced. To top it off the pizza was great! Make sure to stop by if you’re near the area for a quick, inexpensive fast and great tasting pizza.

Yeah it’s kinda average. $ 1 pizza is usually better. We ordered a cheese pizza which was okay-ish. On the plus side the delivery didn’t take long.

OK first is the food its OK nothing great saw them bringing some specialty pizzas from the back in the morning from the night before. The biggest issue is the price. I buy the same thing here once a week and never get charged the same amount. they sell the can if Arizona ice tea for $ 2.50 when everyone knows its ¢99 everywhere else. Now the main reason for one star. saw rats in the early morning eating though a food delivery left at the door. eww yukkie

Visiting from California and was recommended by a Battery Park local to try their pizza. Great service, clean restaurant, variety of options on the menu and the pizza was amazing! Recommend traditional pizza with garlic knots!

The slices here are delicious. I also had one of the best meatball subs that I have had in a while here. There are a ton of shitty slices of pizza in NYC these days — this place is classic old school pizza — it is REALLYSOLID. Other reviews about price and service seem unwarranted — pizza is just expensive in NYC, this place is not more expensive nor is it unfriendly — and the slices are better than 90% of the slices I’ve had.

We tried this local place after a long day of chores and thought we’d get delivery. The thin crust pizza was a mound of oily, gloppy mess — with super fat crust(they also overcharge for toppings). My tuna salad sub came on rock hard, stale bread(actually hurt my mouth to try to bite into it) and oh yeah, they forgot the cheese I ordered. We ate a bit and threw it all out — waste of food and money. Pizzeria fare shouldn’t be hard, Picasso has managed to epically fail. Won’t be back — ever.

We were looking for a pizza place around the 9⁄11 Memorial and Picasso Pizzeria came up. There is nothing special to write home about this place but it delivers on decent pizza and satiated our pizza cravings.

Delicious pizza. Of course, I was just a tourist passing through and am no expert on pizza joints in NY but I like to think I know a good pizza when I taste one and this was good. Crispy crust, lots of delicious toppings, and a nice laid back atmosphere close to the WTC memorial. Try the Neapolitan pizza with artichoke hearts, which I especially liked.

I loved this place! Perfect for a quick break walking between the 9⁄11 memorial and battery park. Cheap, yummy pizza. I kept it classic with pepperoni. Everyone was courteous and friendly.

There appears to be 2 regular slice joints in all of Battery Park City and neither are very good. Picasso Pizzeria produces at best a mediocre slice. There is no flavor in the sauce or toppings. I generally find their slices to be very greasy and they all seem to be unable to hold up to their own weight. It just looks sad when you pick up a plain slice and all the cheese and toppings fall off because the crust is limp. I’d say I won’t go back, but since the choices are rather limited without walking a half dozen blocks, I guess I might get a slice there again, but don’t bother coming to BPC for a slice.
