Beautiful new studio. So far I had classes with 3 different instructors and all of them are really energetic and professional. they gave close attention to all students and classes were well structured. They have lockers with digital key so you don’t need to bring your own. 3 showers, big mirror, and many amenities. Great place to work out!!!

I was so happy when my favorite barre class in the city opened up a Fidi outpost! This location is extremely spacious and modern, on the 16th floor of an office building. The locker room is huge with several showers, plenty of lockers, and all the products/tools I need to get ready before work in the morning. I highly recommend this location because of the extra space and the classes and instructors are just as good as the other locations!

I got a free class promotion via Facebook and was super excited to take my first ever barre class. The studio space was really nice and clean. The lockers were clean, there were showers and towels if you need them. Check-in was a breeze and the instructor was great! I took the Beginners class and loved it! It was just the right pace for beginners and we used different props and tools during the class. For my class, there was an assistant there to help the instructor, I wasn’t sure how often that happens but she helped me. I had a great workout and I am looking forward to go back again when I have the time.

My apartment building partnered with Physique 57 to offer residents two free classes. Outside of this promotion, newcomers typically get two classes for the price of one(around $ 36.00). This place is intense. I took the mat 57 class earlier this morning and my entire body is sore. The exercises really emphasize core strength, but work to tone muscles in your arms and legs as well. The class I took had less than 10 people in it, so there was a lot of individualized attention!

WOW! This is a sanctuary to barre and fitness. Physique 57’s newest New York location does not disappoint. The studios are beautiful with lots of natural light, the locker rooms are spacious and clean and the waiting areas are big and pleasant to be in. An all around fantastic place to come to. Highly, highly recommend. Like the other locations, the workout is fantastic. Low impact, high intensity, results focused. They’re not kidding when they say you’ll see results fast — you will! Very typical«barre» format, cardio-ish beginning(high knees, push ups, etc.) followed by barre work focusing on your thighs, seat and abs. An absolutely excellent workout — nothing at all negative to say. A great addition to downtown — wish I still worked down here so I could come all the time!

Exactly the same as Pure Barre that opened four months ago in Fidi except that Physique57’s teachers are not as good or fit. Pure also has a nicer studio.

In a partnership with my apartment building they gave out a free 2-class packet to the residents so I decided to give it a try. I went to a Signature class and a FIT class; both were challenging and left me shaking. I work out at least 6 times a week, including cardio and strength, and have done yoga, pilates, and barre extensively in the past. With that said, I probably have never felt the burn as much as I did after my two classes at P57. Seriously, especially during the FIT class, at a couple of points I thought I was going to give up and my limbs were going to fall off. After a lunch hour class even sitting at my desk in the office in the afternoon after I felt my thighs burning the whole time. Initially I was adamant I would just try the free two classes because they are expensive($ 36 per pre-tax and even a monthly membership is a whopping $ 375), but now I’m actually considering taking advantage of the newcomer special and then using the discount toward my next package after attending a certain number of classes within a month. The studio is in an office building with no signs upfront, but once you get to the 16th floor the space is very neat, has lots of natural light in both studios, and even has a little lounge area where you can sit and flip through a magazine. Since my trial I’ve also done some internet research on the company and read a lot of positive reviews. I’m a bit surprised I’d never heard of them and they’ve been around for a decade, but glad they’ve opened up a new studio right in my neck of the woods.
