Quick, quality work, reasonably priced. For guys — when you hear people say «get your tailor to do X» — this is the tailor they have in mind. Seems good for the ladies too. It’s suite 903 in the building, FYI.

Got a skirt hemmed here for $ 12. He was quick and timely on it so that’s a plus but I feel like it could’ve been done better. The stitching kinda shows so I wasn’t too happy about that.

Perry’s a great guy, it’s true. But all of the pants I’ve done with him have opened at the seams that he sewn. It is embarrassing to walk around with a hole under your crotch, but it’s unacceptable when that hole opens up more than once on multiple articles your tailor does for you. In addition, whenever his seams opened up, he still charged me to patch them up. My shirts did not fare better either. I tried really hard to like him because of all the great reviews below… but I just can’t.
Cheap price, cheap quality here. It’s that simple.

Perry is the absolute best! I have brought him several dresses that needed precision tailoring and his work has been impeccable every time. One of the dresses has intricate beadwork and Perry tailored the dress to perfection while keeping the beading intact. And he did this all on a rushed timeframe to make sure he could get the dress back to me before he left for a trip. For high quality tailoring I don’t go anywhere else!

Perry has tailored three separate items for me since my office moved downtown three months ago. At this point I don’t even bother to ask him how he will do it, when it will be ready, or how much it will cost. That’s because I know the quality will be high, the price will be reasonable, and I will have it sooner than I thought possible.

Perry is absolutely incredible! I’ve been to several tailors in NYC/​Toronto/​LA and I have never been so impressed with a tailor I just had to write a review! He really knows the specifics on exactly how an item should be tailored to make it fit perfectly. I had 4 sweaters/​tops taken in and they came out PERFECT. Even better than I thought they could fit! Super friendly guy, very honest, reasonable pricing, and was ready in a few days. Can’t wait to go back next week to bring him more items to work his magic on! :)

Honest, talented tailor. I was considering getting some suspender buttons put into my suit pants. Pervez tactfully and graciously persuaded me not to due to my portly stature. Very reasonable pricing, proper English tailor and most importantly his honesty is a treasured rarity.

This guy is a magician. I brought him pants that were torn badly (through the material — not even along the seam). In 48 hours he patched them up amazingly well and charged me a very reasonable price. Definitely going back.

I’ve had a couple pairs of dress pants needing repairs for quite a few months. I moved to a new area in NJ and work in downtown NYC. None of the dry cleaners near where I live know what they are doing so I decided to check Unilocal where I work and found the review for Perry’s. Based on the 2 reviews I found and went and boy am I glad I found him! He’s so cool, very talented and his prices are extremely fair. I will tell everyone about him. I can’t even tell where my pants were torn & he had them ready the very next day. Amazing. You would never know he’s in the building tucked away on the 9th floor. What Perry does is a lost art & as he said to me «his passion». So great to meet someone who LOVES what they do! Go to Perry, you won’t regret it!

Perry a.k.a. Pervez is an excellent tailor. He was trained on Savile Row and has made suits for the rich and famous for years. He has a really good eye for detail when it comes to clothes. I took my entire wardrobe to him and he tailored it all to my size. My boss goes to him too. And what a joy it is to wear tailored well-​fitting clothes!
