First thing is the pizza was awesome! It is super fresh and there is tons of toppings to choose from. The pies are brick oven and probably among the top 3 best pizzas in the area. We ordered pepperoni with extra cheese also onions and peppers with garlic. Both 17′ inches. Oh and how can I forget Calamari both fried and not. Service I must say was not good. Our waitress was not friendly and very careless. I may give her benefit of the doubt and say She might have been new. I asked a question about a drink on the menu and she replied«well I’m not the bar tender but I can ask her». As a hostess at a restaurant I had to memorize the entire menu. So I’m not sure where that came from. Any how I ordered a tequila martini and it was very poorly put together. My self made home drinks are tastier. Too bad for Patsy’s they seem to only excel in their pizza making abilities.

The calzone and the pasta bean soup we ordered is perfect so I am giving 5 star. I would come back here and try other food.

Pizza is delicious. Main reason I’m giving it such a good rating. You also usually get your food pretty quickly here since most people are ordering pizzas. I’ve been coming here for years as I used to work at a hospital nearby, and I’ve yet to get a friendly waiter/waitress. I’m not sure what they’re doing to their employees there, but no one ever looks happy!

Patsy’s pizza is by far one of the greatest pizzas in Manhattan. It’s a thin slice almost Neapolitan style with fresh mozzarella cheese and an awesome sauce. It’s located on 1st Ave and 117 th street. But it’s so worth it to track up there for this gem of a pizza parlor. The reason why their pizza is so good is because they use their original oven to prepare it. Patsy’s I love you

Ok for a quick meal. Food was just ok– quality not the best. Service very good. Close to the hospitals which is very important. Not from this area, so we did not know where to eat in a good Italian dinner

This pizzeria is a sad excuse for a restaurant. It took 10 minutes just to get water and my tablet had to ask for bread after 20 minutes of being there. I ordered a sandwich while a friend ordered a salad and it didn’t come out until 45 minutes later. The restaurant was relatively empty so I don’t understand why the wait was so long for something that should take no more than 5 minutes. Tables all around us got their food before we were able to. The service was terrible and there was no attempt to speed along the process. I couldn’t wait any more because I had to get back to work and had to get my lunch packed which took another 5 minutes. It’s safe to say that I will not be returning. Listen to all the bad reviews because they are entirely true.

My two teenager arrived there before me so told them to order something till I get there. They were practically ignored by the waitress because they were not adult. We ordered dinner but no bread and butter were served while other tables became a priority over us. We had to ask for every little things. Over priced and over rated. The dishes are ok typical Italian, the pizza is thin crust but with very little or no cheeses, a large pie does not even satisfy three people appetite. Most of it is bread with little toppings. Dishes are expensive for where it is and atmosphere of a very casual place.

This is my second time at Patsy’s. I have to say that Patsy’s pizzas are defintely where it’s at. The dough is delicious! Our mozzarella and proscuitto pizza was delicious and I highly recommend it. The caprese was alright, and it’s skippable, I would say. During a second visit, I ordered the clam spaghetti. Definitely stick to the pizza at Patsy’s. Or if you want clam spaghetti, go down the street to Fratelli’s. Other reviewers have said that Patsy’s serves a mean short rigatoni bolognese, so maybe I’ll give their pastas another chance the next time I visit. But really, their pizza is the bomb dot com. The overall restaurant has a cute diner-y Italian feel. In the daytime, it’s brightly lit thanks to all the windows. At night, it can be quite romantic.

I know a lot of people rave about this place but it’s not really my cup of tea. The pizza slices tend to get moist since they are so thin and I’m not a fan of that. The basil is so fresh though which I loved but I think I will stick to normal NYC corner store pizza. Every time I’ve been here the crowd has been extremely boisterous and it was very cramped. The pizza was okay, nothing exceptional.

Food was fresh but service was horrible. It wasn’t even busy and the waitress didn’t even know what«ripe» tomatoes were. Had to ask for my bill 2 or 3 times as well. Too overpriced for a small pizza.

We’ve been ordering Margarita Pizza that comes with basil. It’s been thin and delicious. Last week they were out of basil and it was thick and dough tasting. This week I asked if they had basil. The answer was yes. They put ONE piece of basil on the entire pizza. And don’t ask for a discount on the next one. Unless $ 2.00 will satisfy you.

Italian restaurant on point! The shrimp scampi was delicious and prices are decent with big portions of food! Definitely worth a visit!

Their bolognese with short rigatoni is one of my favorites. Their sauce is perfectly balanced and not too greasy like other bolognese tend to be. The pasta is al dente and keeps well for the next day. I’ve tried their pizza before and I think it was better than average, but I wouldn’t come back just for their pizza. Their bread is pretty good. Service is pretty nice. They’ve always been a bit empty at the tines I’ve been.

This a cute original pizzeria/dining spot. THISISTHEORIGINALPATSYSLOCATION. It is not in the best area though unfortunately. We went in on a Saturday night around 8pm. There was no wait, we sat down right away. We were only a party of 2, I would assume reservations for a larger party are necessary. The waitress was good, food came fast. The pizza is the thinnest pizza I have ever had. It’s very flimsy, like a napkin, but it is DELICIOUS. The cheese is amazing, the basil is great, the pepperoni is delicious! They don’t sell slices, so you’ll have to get a pie. But trust me, you’ll probably finish all of it anyway because it’s thin and just so good.(for 2 people we split one pie, and got about 4 slices each.) This is a CASHONLY spot.

The pizza at Patsy’s is very mediocre and overpriced for what it is. The pasta dishes have great flavor and the sauces are fresh, but I have noticed that they are heavy on the pasta and cheap out on the shellfish, fish, or meat that they come with. Prices are too high for individual portions and the family style portions only tend to increase the amount of pasta, not meat or fish, making it a huge rip-off. The pasta fagioli, though $ 8 is way overpriced for a bowl of macaroni and bean soup, is excellent. The bacon is an authentic touch that makes it worth it if you’re ever craving a pasta fagioli and don’t feel like cooking it yourself!

Came here for dinner with a group of 8 after yoga class. Place was a bit busy, but service was good. We weren’t seated in front of the entrance, but the area was cold that we have to have our coats on. $ 15.95 is a reasonable price for a White Clam Sauce Linguine, while other Italian restaurants in Manhattan cost $ 20 or more for the same pasta. The White Clam Sauce Linguine was tasty. Others had pizza and some salad, which I had no interest in to remember the name. My only complaint was that some of the clams have sand in them. Other than that, we had a great time in a nice cozy atmosphere with good service and good food. Definitely will come back again!

Visited 02/04/2015 After a long day of testing and pre-admission to HSS… my wife and I were looking forward to some pizza. We found Patsy’s online and since it was only 2 blocks away, walked over to kill some time and let the rush hour traffic subside.(Should have waited longer…) Greeted very nicely and seated promptly. Ordered a beer and a glass of wine for the Mrs. We ordered the organic baby greens with beets and goat cheese with a white balsamic vinaigrette… Very nice. Just the right amount of dressing. One of our favorite toppings is ‘meatball/garlic’(minced) but they didn’t have meatballs, so we chose half sausage, half plain. Thin crust… very nice. I think we both liked the plain slice better than the sausage, but they were pretty good too. I don’t know if this is the«BEST» in NYC… but it’s pretty good pizza. I’d have no problem hobbling over from HSS after my operation.

Such good pizza. We got a pepperoni pie, they use silver dollar sized fresh cut pepperoni. Thin crust, the sauce is a little spicy. GETIT.

Is this the best NY has to offer for pizza? Because if so, I’m sorely disappointed. The pizza is fine. Not great, not awful by any means either. Came here twice while at the hospital nearby visiting. On the first visit, we asked for the cheese pizza with the famous basil on it. She said they all come with basil. Great. Except it had two pieces of basil on the whole pie. C’mon. The salad was nothing to speak of either. On a followup visit, we enjoyed the pizza, but again, it doesn’t seem worth seeking out. Passable, sure. But legacy worthy? Nope.

I have been a fan of Patsy’s for a LONGTIME!!! I would stand by them and their pizza and defend as hard as I could BUT I had to deduct a star for the last experience I had. The pizza wasn’t as gourmet feeling as it once was… the crust was a little thicker… oh and we ordered pizza with broccoli and they gave us like three florets on it! NOTGOOD! Not happy folks. C’mon Patsy’s you’re better than that! (The pizza was yummy though, lol)
