I don’t really care that it is a Korean company, I find their bakery items to be delicious and worth the price. Of course they aren’t the best I’ve ever had but they do their job. I usually go for the pastries with red bean in them, always very good.

I like everything about Paris Baguette. Especially that their cakes are not thaaaaat sweet and always fresh. I highly recommend baguettes, croissants(mini in the cups), strawberry crème cakes and roll cakes. Roll cakes are always fresh, coffee is too. I did not have a chance to enjoy the atmosphere inside but I can tell that they are busy. The thing that I like that they renew the whole tray despite there were couple of pastries left(not putting the new to the old tray). Highly recommend crème cakes.(piece varies from 5.50 and up, cakes are from 24 and up).

I think I’m becoming pretty obsessed with the Paris Baguette chain. So many pastries that I love and want to try. This location has plenty of seats in the back of the café. Curry Pan — pretty strong curry flavor. Not sure why it has a dollop of ketchup on it. I wish I could have had this toasted. Mango Royal Pudding — I needed something sweet to balance the curry taste. I’m not a fan of caramel but the bit of caramel in the bottom of the jar mixed well with the pudding. It wasn’t sticky or cloying at all. The fruitiness of the mango topping added a different fruity sweetness. Before I knew it, I had finished it. Then I looked at the Nutrition Facts. Is this thing really only 150 calories? What should I try next?

Came here today to pick up a cake to bring to my office’s corporate location. I have had a piece of their Strawberry Fresh Cream Cake and absolutely loved it; however, the customer service was a little iffy this time. I asked the girl behind the counter if it would last a 2 hour train ride and she simply did not know. I saw the green tea roll cake and figured it would be better to transport up to Connecticut. I asked her if she liked it and she said it would make the trip up, but she didn’t like the green tea cake. Okay, great… I ended up buying the Honey Castella cake as the lady behind the counter didn’t have anything negative to say about it and she pointed out that it was already chopped into slices so it would make it easier to serve. It’s also one of the more affordable options at $ 16 for a whole cake. Last minute, I also bought a large coffee to go. Pre-warning, the coffee was burnt. I love the desserts here, but with the lackluster reviews from the staff and the disgusting coffee, it definitely bumped down my review. I will never buy coffee here again as the lid wasn’t properly attached and kept spilling down my sleeve as I walked home, but the burned coffee was terrible and just made me want to toss it out. They advertise their«completely unique wonderful coffee,» but yeesh, watch out!

I love this Paris Baguette! Is it the best Asian bakery I’ve been to? Absolutely not! But it’s a wonderful place to sit down in a beautiful, spacious café and enjoy a very reasonably priced fruit tart. I also sometimes likes to pick up some of the lunch sandwiches/salads or savory baked goods for lunch. I think that considering how much food you get, how pretty it looks, and the fact that you can choose foods on the healthier side if you want to, it is a great value! I love buying their fresh loaves of bread to eat that are placed above the bread case. Would I go to Paris Baguette as much if there were other Asian bakeries around? Probably not, but if you live in the area it is still probably better priced than some of the other bakeries nearby depending on what type of bread you want(i.e. if you want Challah bread that’s not going to happen here) or what your personal taste preferences are. Paris Baguette does not have WiFi, but they do have very long opening hours so that’s always a positive that you can go almost whenever you want.

Great quality, high price. Certainly not authentic French bakery but I’m sure it’s a good mimic. It is certainly one of the better bakeries on the uws.

My favorite choice of breakfast. The breads are fresh and cookies are great. This place have seats inside so you can eat there.

Is this Korean bakery chain actually one of the better breakfast options on the Upper West Side? It almost seems like it is. Clean store, efficient service(grab your sandwich /pastry from one of the shelves, and line up to pay), well-done pastries, and freshly made sandwiches. They get that right. Of course no one speaks French here, and of course the brand name wants to make you think you’re eating in a European bakery. I’m from there, and trust me, you don’t. But it’s still very solid food!

I ordered bubble milk tea bubble tea at Paris Baguette. My experience was really bad if to be honest, the taste wasn’t good and very low amount of bubbles(tapioca). The price was $ 5.88 which is very expensive for such a low quality tea. Hope they can improve their bubble tea in the future.

If you’re experienced with being outside New York– then you’ll already know how popular this place is. Judging by the thinly racist reviews(opinions or whatever the narrow minded reviewer wants to call it) some really aren’t in the know. Don’t come here if you’re watching your waistline, vegan, organic, etc. There’s plenty of options. Go if you want something super tasty, unique– and that will require a good run in the park later!

What a great coffee shop in the upper west side. Finally a place where you have everything from great coffee to amazing pastries. Desserts, sandwiches, cakes, pastries in any format and color. Killer cronuts! I was so eager to try a cronut in nyc after their boom and success with Dominique Ansel but that place is so overrated and overpriced that I refuse to pay a cronut or anything for $ 5. Anyway, I found then in Paris Baguette and guess what? They are aaaamaaaazing! So crispy on the outside and most in the inside that is to die for. Their Portuguese tarts are also a great finding. We discovered this pastry in South Africa and I felt in love. Is an egg tart(pastry filled with custard cream). Delicious! Their croissants are good and the custard tarts with berries too. Someone told me that the Carrot cake is one of the best he had. I’ll try it and let you know!

French pastries and desserts presented beautifully. The seating area in the back is nicer than your average coffee shop. Even their decaf coffee was delicious! I’ve never enjoyed a decaf coffee before this. The staff clearly didn’t speak French, but they wore cute berets. We had carrot cake and chocolate mousse cake. It was pretty good.

As my earlier review stated, this is not an actual French bakery, as I assumed due to the name. Unfortunately on my way to the train, I didn’t Google this chain to see what the brand was all about and was unaware of the Korean obsession with all things French as another reviewer mentioned [I didn’t know it was required that ppl look up where they walk into prior to posting their opinion on Unilocal]. If anyone is walking by this place and is unfamiliar of the brand, judging from the name, one wouldn’t think this place was at all Korean – let’s be real, about 40% of the items here may actually be in an actual bakery in Paris. They do have an interesting fusion of treats that are worth trying, but are overpriced. Comparatively speaking, vegan desserts in the neighborhood are not marked up as some items are in this bakery(which are not vegan). I’m not sure why my original review was labeled as ‘prejudiced filth’ as Unilocal is created to review businesses, not attack and insult another reviewer’s opinion. As Unilocal is an open forum, I mentioned my honest opinion of what I was hoping this place had to offer and what it ultimately ended up being.

People here have been complaining about that it’s not a «Parisian» bakery instead it gives of a «Made in China» vibe. Welcome to America dear. Mexican food is a Tex-Mex food here. Italian food involves chicken and heavy American cheeses here. Gyro and Hummus seem to be the only good specialities here served only at Halal food carts. You want real Prisian food. Air France flies twice a day from JFK. I love having this little bakery around my block. Sure the food is not«diet conscious» then again it’s a flipping bakery with baked goods. #FirstWorldPeoblems I took off one star because prices are ridiculous.

The place is nice and clean. Very spacious and nice décor. Lots of variety for you to choose from but isn’t all French specific. They add a fusion to their items to try to aim towards a larger audience. Lots of seating in the back, I sat on the couch in the back to relax. A great place to study if your a student.

Lots of baked stuff, certainly not for the diet-conscious. The prices are high, but the orange croissant doughnut was indescribably delicious, and washing it down with an iced latte was perfect on this hot summer day. It’s clean and neat, but definitely shows its Asian flair. The price tag for a medium iced latte and donut was over $ 10, so be prepared!

Wow the reviews here are being incredibly unfair. First, in response to Jas’s fuming review about this place being a cheap Chinese knockoff of an ‘authentic Parisian bakery’…it’d be nice if you looked further into the brand you decided to visit and purchase from– Paris Baguette is a South Korean chain focused on French-inspired pastries and cakes. Sure it stems from the awkward Korean obsession with all things French, but that doesn’t mean the food and fare it offers is any worse and any lower quality than your fancy ‘authentic’ baguette with brie cheese. What a joke. That said, as far as Paris Baguettes go in the city, this is my favorite one so far. It’s definitely cheaper than the one in Ktown and elsewhere and while the staff is quite unorganized… I think it’d be fair to give them a few more weeks to get adjusted. The weekend I visited – which is just a week ago– service was friendly but a bit frazzled. There’s no wifi, so don’t bother camping out here, but they do hold a much larger space half a level above in the back area, which is more than what most Paris Baguettes offer. I would like to think that this is a welcome addition to the residents of this neighborhood and really hope people don’t spew their prejudiced filth just to pan a place they know nothing about.

This café opened recently in my neighborhood in UWS. Not realizing that this was an Asian-French fusion bakery, I was pleasantly surprised to find milk pan(white bread) when I walked in the store. I went in with the intention of buying a baguette, and walked out with milk pan :). The pan here is better than the ones in Panya Bakery in East Village(the Panya’s pan is too buttery tasting), though Paris also offers their version of butter breads as well. Also, Paris doesn’t offer the option to cut your loaf to the slice thickness of your liking. Their desserts looked really airy and creamy, similar to Korean or Japanese western desserts. I’m not a fan of asian pastries(unless they are traditional Japanese kind), so I probably would never try theirs, but I love that I can get my fill of pan w/o having to trek down the EV. The staff is very friendly and they were handing out coupon booklets when I went. Not sure if it’s a promotional thing or regularly offered, but they offered some good discounts on slices and whole cakes. Paris Baguette adds a much needed dessert/bakery café to the neighborhood.
