Great massage. Unilocal reviews here don’t lie.

A few months ago, I had a not great experience here. In response to my review, Lily offered to make it up to me. That counts for a whole lot. I appreciate her kind offer, and intend to take her up on it very soon.
For that alone, she deserved five stars. (Past massages were great!)

I have been coming here for massage since I move to NYC. They have both male and female customers. I have gone to other places when I see a good deal but I always come back here because 1) I get a wonderful massage, 2) they are open till very late so I can come after work, 3) they are so accommodating and willing to take me the same day, 4) they listen to your need and modify the massage according to them (which is no common in many massage place), 5) they remember you! They also take credit card which is a big plus in my book. I will be back soon.

I love it here. Lily is amazing with her hands and always works on the areas that I request. Her hands are amazing! It’s a no frills massage so don’t expect anything luxurious. But you leave with a better massage than most high end spas.

Excellent thirty minute massage. Found every knot and they didn’t stand a chance. I feel three feet taller. Exactly what I needed after a stressful work week.
Will definitely be back.

This was the best massage I’ve ever received. I met the owner of this place who was very lovely and professional — and the massage itself was perfect. The massage therapist had fantastic technique and was strong in being able to get get all the knots out. I’ll definitely be back.

They talked to each other over me during the massage and gave very little privacy. My curtain was opened with multiple people facing me while I was completed exposed and undressed. My ‘massage therapist’ left during my massage, unannounced, and I think a different person came back to finish the job. The whole experience was so awkward and the massage was so bad that, had they not made me pay first, I would have left pretty soon after the massage started. I was much more tense when I left and will never go back.
Also, I don’t trust the good reviews on here because the owner offered me free services if I left a good Unilocal review. However, I wouldn’t even want a free massage here.

Amazing!!! Best massage in the upper east side. Lilly is a miracle worker! She is gifted with finding every tension spot in the body, no instruction needed! Her technique is amazing, deep but not painful, very thorough… totally worth every penny! The place is also very clean and well maintained. Overall, a five star experience. We are going back asap!

I has having severe lower back and thigh pain, so rather than go to a CityMD and get told to use compresses and take advil, I decided to give massage a first try. I loved it! My masseuse was Grace, she was very attentive to my particular pains and pleasant to talk to. The place is definitely no-​frills but is completely comfortable and clean. Grace gave me a full-​body massage in which she really kneaded away at my painful areas and other areas where I’ve had knots for years. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable. They played nature sounds in the background and the whole experience was supremely relaxing. I got up from the table feeling wonderfully limber, and as I walked home I was almost pain-​free. I will definitely be coming back! Another thing first-​timers should know: tip is customary and not included in the price.

I came back for the second appointment. A deep tissue and hot stone massage works out very well for my body needs. A got great valued for the money I paid. The staff are very informative and helpful. As a native Chinese, I can say this place has the real deal.

While some might say it’s bare bones, this is one the best hidden gems on the upper east side. I’ve had chronic back problems, something I thought only sophisticated, expensive, fancy spas could handle. When I started coming here a few years ago, I was proved wrong! I get a great massage from knowledgeable practitioners, and yes, the price is amazing. Steadily my scoliosis and herniated disc have been improving, and I know it’s due to these magicians.

This is the best massage center in the city! I always leave feeling refreshed and so relaxed. I tend to have a sore back because I exercise a lot, and coming here is the remedy! I always have a good experience, from the friendly staff and soothing music! thank you Oriental Oasis:) neighborhood gem

The place is good, I got the best massage, I like it. Masseurs are very professional, very strong, they know how to make you relax, how to relieve your pain, which is the same as like magic relieve my pain. I’ll be back

This place is such a find. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They can pinpoint your problem and address it. The owner who is also a masseuse has a medical background. I went in with shoulder pain and it was greatly relieved after just one massage. I highly recommend Oriental Oasis!

Both my housemate and I have come here for almost a year. The ladies work absolute magic! I suffer from knots on my upper back and Lilly always fixes me! 100% recommend!

I’ll keep it simple, the décor isn’t very nice and I had a tough time relaxing during the massage because of the padding around my head during the massage wasn’t sufficient. With how much pressure the masseuse was applying, I had a lot of pressure on my neck and around my eyes. That was my biggest complaint and why I wouldn’t go back. They need much more comfortable tables.

I suffer from chronically stiff back/​shoulder muscles, and have gone to similar massage places around the city for years. Most of them follow the same old routine and provide some temporary relief. I assumed I’d get the same treatment when I went to Oriental Oasis, but the place is above and beyond any other place I’ve been to in the ten years I’ve lived in NYC.
Why? Their masseuses are able to identify problem areas immediately, and will spend the time necessary to correct what’s ailing you. Lily worked on me for an hour during my first visit, and spent nearly all her time on my shoulders, because she knew I needed it. She was also great in communicating to me the reason I was experiencing pain, and demonstrated some exercises to keep those particular muscles from tightening up again. I’ve been going weekly now for about a month, and am seeing very positive results — I’ve not been this pain free for years!
The rest of the staff is equally fantastic, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I won’t go anywhere else anymore, and have been recommending this place to my friends. Five stars!
