The one star is for the service here which is beyond appalling unless you are a size zero and dressed to the nines. Even more ironic is to be ignored this way, when this designer has a huge stop objectification of women campaign. How abut started at home and talking to your salespeople about their treatment of anyone not fitting their size zero rich person image?

After seeing Sofia Vergara’s Diet Pepsi commercial, I had to have a Norma Kamali«Bill» swimsuit! I came here on a Sunday and got terrific personal attention from Shawn, who let me try on countless colors in both the sweetheart and halter style. Contrary to other reviews, I didn’t come here with an enormous budget for the more expensive styles and let Shawn know I was only interested in the $ 98 «Bill» swimsuit. I had a great experience and feel terrific in my new swimsuit! If you come here, definitely look for Shawn!

I like the brand, but their customer service is non-existant. I’ve called and there’s never anyone there to pick up the phone. I have written emails(I wait months between emails, to give them time to reply) to inquire about items, and received no reply. They do email me lots of ads, but if I have a question they do not answer. Not like the emails I wrote are tough to answer, it’s questions about the material/fabric not answered on the site. So I signed up for try before you buy via their website, and didn’t get a reply either. I have been trying to buy one item for almost a year and have yet to make my purchase since they never call or write back to answer my one or two questions. To be fair, the store is ok if you walk in. Any other form of communication than a walk-in, is in vain. I’ve emailed, called, and signed up on the site and provided my phone number, and nothing. Fire your customer service, Norma, I’m sure you’d get more business. **At the moment I posted this, I finally received a reply to an email, about the wrong product. They must have gotten the emails confused. I wanted to let people know they finally did reply but I’m not editing my above because it is frustrating to communicate with them.

Still my fave NYC store and worth a stop just to experience fashion history. Whether you’re an old school fan or just curious, this is one of the most laid back(ie, you won’t be hounded by sales people) and spacious flagship stores ever. If I have only 10 free minutes in town, I spend @ least 5 of it here.(-:
