Third Ave & 72nd Street store. Today is the second time i received literally NO service. The
two salesGirls saw me, but did nothing. Is it because I have gray hair? Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate cute clothes. Last time I’ll go there as there are lots of stores with terrific salespeople. O & B’s lost a good sale today!

Again, like their 3rd Ave location, the staff is exceedingly rude and ignore customers. They should really try to smile every now and then, because it’s a huge turn-​off to walk into a store full of idle, pissed-​off looking sales assistants.
The layout is cute, but the clothing is overpriced and can easily be bought at discount or on sale from Bloomingdales, Zappos, etc., and when one thinks of the benefits of buying from a department store that offers deals and savings for spending, this store doesn’t even warrant a visit to check out the décor.

A woven leather sandal, in peach, with a platform heel = a pair of shoes that I could not live without. I’m just glad that they were at an acceptable price point and that nothing else won my heart because I wouldn’t normally shop at a store this expensive. Layout is attractive and expansive.

Stuff in Olive and Bettes is always very nice. However, i dun like the attitude of the staff in this store. They are not friendly and are quite aloof. The staff in the one in Upper West is so much nicer.

This is my favorite of all the Olive & Bette’s locations in New York, mostly because of the guy who runs it. I’ve been coming in here since I was a pre-​teen and he has always been nice to me and my little sister, not to mention incredibly helpful. The clothing does tend to skew towards a younger demographic, hence me going here for so many years, but you can always count on Olive & Bette’s for a good stock of quality basics, like Splendid and James Perse t-​shirts and trendy jeans.

My friend and I walked in this boutique today and I thought everything in here was absolutely adorable. It seemed very unique, but my friend shared with me that they have a few other locations around the city as well. They carry all my favorite designer: nanette lepore, theory, james perse, etc. The prices were a bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth a splurge every once in a while. I would shop here all the time if I lived in NY.
