OK Uniform always helps me out in a pinch. Needed last minute uniforms for an event and OK came through! The staff is always very helpful and easy to work with. Thanks OK!

Came here looking for chef coats. There was a decent variety of styles and sizing and the sales people were reasonably helpful.

They employees here are never ever friendly or very helpful and it always looks like they’re going out of business(half empty shelves, always out of sizes, kinda dirty, etc). It’s my emergency place to go when I need something asap and don’t have time to order online. Otherwise, I avoid this store and suggest you do as well.

I had a TERRIBLE experience here today. Some of the worst service ever! The sales associates were very dismissive when I kindly asked where to find tuxedo pants — as if I were interrupting their day by trying to buy sometime! THEN they blamed ME when they had no more pants my size! This is a direct quote: «Well, all the the girls that got here earlier got the pants. You should’ve gotten here earlier.» I don’t recall there being a timetable for when pants run out at stores. Learn how to stock your store properly. It was a waste of a trip. They aren’t exactly conveniently located in the heart of the city. I needed the pants for a catering job ASAP and they had no other recommendations of where to go since they ran out. I found a great place called«Marty’s Tuxedos» in Queens, which I gladly made the trip out to and they were wonderful. Do NOT go here and give them the satisfaction of your money. I don’t care that we’re in New York, there is no room for impudence when you’re trying to run a business. I will never shop here again.

My first Unilocal review. OK Uniform was great. I needed a t-shirt order, custom art printed on multiple different shirts by various companies and in a very specific selection of sizes. Avi handled the order flawlessly from start to finish and got every single detail correct, including the delivery date, which was very tight. The prices were reasonable and the service was impeccable. The shirts themselves were perfect, and as a special bonus they matched the print color to the collar color on two different types of shirts — something I had wanted but wasn’t prepared to pay the extra money for, given my budget. Well. they did it for me anyway, no charge. Next custom t-shirts I need made, I will definitely go to OK Uniform. PS: This place has the benefit of being a local family-run business of the kind that I am pleased to patronize, rather than a faceless online entity.

Okay, I missed the little note to me telling me OK was back; I walked by their new location today, and boy was I happy! I never understood how a store like that could have gone out of business anyway. They sell excellent, sensible, sturdy clothes for any uniform needs you may have – not just service-industry stuff, but when I was in the Big Apple Corps marching and concert band, they were the best place to get uniform pants and shirts as well.(White is white, black is black.) And I happen to like tough, sensible clothing that lasts for years. They also have the«Outback» multi-pocket vest for $ 59.00 – either with a solid back, or a net back for summer. Their hours are strange, and they’re not open on the weekends at all – they close 1:30PM Friday in observance of Shabbos – but I can deal with that.

Avi and the rest of the staff at OK Uniform are extremely helpful and so nice! I called with a fairly large order at 4pm on a Thursday and by early Friday morning it was ready for me to pick-up. I’ve already told numerous people I work with about OK Uniform and it’ll be the only place I go to from now on. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with OK Uniform! I had some trouble finding comfortable scrubs at other stores but I found them very quickly here. They even have all cotton scrubs, which I had been looking for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were eager to help me and went into the basement to get my the sizes/colors I wanted. I highly recommend for scrubs!

I hate this place and recommend you do not shop there. I am so angry right now. First of all, the polyster pants(aka blood blister inducing pants if you work a double & have any thigh chafing tendencies) were $ 25 a pair & I needed 2 for work. With my shirts & other accessories, I spent $ 120. I go to my new job and find out that I didnt really need the pants, and that any other cotton black pants would be fine. So, unworn and with receipt, I go back to OK. They inform me that because the pants were hemmed(by their tailor) they couldn’t be returned. I asked if I could have the hem removed and then return them and the man said yes. I left the store, drove to the tailor, paid to have the hems removed & pants ironed and then drove back to OK. He then says ok great, they are now in re-sellable condition, Ill give you store credit. I said I didn’t need a store credit & just wanted a refund. As you can guess, he refused. So I kept the pants & will sell them on eBay, but this is ridiculous. Their priority is NOT the customer, it is money in their pockets. I was further insulted when he repeatedly insisted on pointing out the font on the bottom of the receipt stating their exchange only policy. I said I could read perfectly well & was asking for an exception to be made. He said no. I said I would not be back. Bottom line: if you buy anything at these money grubbers’ store, be sure you really need it and never buy extra, because you’re stuck with store credit for life. I hope they go out of business. If customer satisfaction isn’t a small business priority, I will not support it with my hard earned money. Two thumbs down for OK Uniforms.

Employee gave incorrect information about what needed to be purchased for a restaurant that had done a bulk order through the company. After taking a second long trip to Manhattan to correct the employee’s mistake, they informed us «they don’t do returns,» and refused to admit they had given incorrect information. They offered to do an exchange for two items that we did not want or need(we’re buying work uniforms, not consumer goods… do we really need/want overpriced corkscrews to make up for your mistake?). Employee was rude and clearly wasn’t listening to the situation. From their website: «We pride ourselves with our courteous customer service». Unfortunately, they shouldn’t pride themselves too much on that.
