Booked one of these cruises for new years eve — most POORLY ORGANIZED event I’ve ever been to, particularly for the money paid. Everyone was there early — even before the confirmation email told us we needed to be — a huge long line of people there more than an hour before departure time — but it still took them more than an hour and a half to load the boat, because they only had 1 person checking names. So we were standing out in the freezing cold for more than an hour, and the boat departed way after it was meant to. Then, once aboard, we found more waiting, because they thought it was a good idea to have just 1 buffet line for hundreds of people. When they finally got around to opening the buffet, it was an absolute mob scene. Many of the staff were rude, and they couldn’t seem figure out if the top deck was supposed to be open or not. Coat check was expensive. The champaign for the midnight toast was practically apple juice. Guess they thought we wouldn’t notice. Food was decent though, and the DJ was good. It was pretty amazing to get to watch the fireworks from the river, right up by the Statue of Liberty. I’d do a river cruise again, but not this company.

This was my first time going on a cruise. I enjoyed it for the most part however towards 2am the music was terrible. More and more people were leaving the dance floor. Also food «buffet» was good, but they should advertise it as a $ 10 plate of food. not buffet because you can not go back repeatedly. The company should consider having shot girls or waitresses offering appetizers throughout the time. Overall it was fun experience.

Wish there was an option for zero stars! So I had a group of 10 people buy tickets for this event for my birthday. We all came into the city from all across NJ to be there. However at the time of entering the boat it was determined by security that I «was too intoxicated to get on». I was not even close to being intoxicated. This was noted by police surrounding the area and they tried to help my party convince security that it was a mistake. But they still did not let me on and therefore everyone in my party did not get on either. If all that was not enough, they would not refund the tickets either. Just all around poor, trashy, discriminatory service. I will be celebrating events on other more classier cruise lines in the future.
