North Manhattan Pediatrics

Hey Parents,
I have 4 kids and I have been with Dr. Cariaso from when he first started. He is very kind, sweet, and patient. He always returns phone calls. He is the only Dr. in this private practice so you are only dealing with one person, down side to that though is when an emergency comes up there is no one to take over for him other than who he may have on call. He always takes his time with my kids he never rushes. He takes time to explain things to you an goes over everything he is doing during the exam. He has late appointments so that’s great .He takes both private and public insurances. The office is never crowded at the most you may see 2 other families there. He is easy to reach as well on email. He sometimes even answers the phone himself when you are calling the office. The office is nice, clean, but small. friendly, non judgmental atmosphere. It a 10 min walk from the train but I usually walk over there, also there are places such as IHOP that you can take the kids to afterwards. LOTS LOTS LOTS of books for the kids to read, the office has no T.V. though but it gives the kids time to get knowledge, he is moving to a new location so maybe he might put one in .Also for new mommies he has samples of goodies for new babies an as always for the older kiddos stickers and a lollipop for the little ones after examination. This offices uses the new Electronic System so he send your prescription over to the pharmacy right away with out you having to take a paper an you can use the patient portal to request appointments, medical forms, etc. He is great an I hope it stays that way.

Dr Cariaso is a welcome asset to the community! This is a one doctor practice and you will always deal with him and not be handed off to someone who is unfamiliar with your child and your situation. Dr Cariaso takes the time to sit down with patients and get to know them on a personal level. His staff are friendly and helpful and the office is impeccably clean. The wait time to be seen is never more than 5 minutes on the busiest days.
