Noble Abode

I finally decided – after 4 apartments and way more years – to upgrade my living quarters. I’ve always looked at design websites (and other people’s homes) with a mix of «wow, that looks so great!» and «why doesn’t my place look like that?» I was always trying to make things work with what I already had, and I wasn’t very good at thinking outside the box when it came to design or aesthetic. Actually, «wasn’t very good» puts it mildly. Realizing I needed some help, I looked online and found Noble Abode.
I loved working with Noble Abode and my designer Luna Grey. I was very upfront about my small budget and lack of design skills, and Luna made sure the entire process was fun, informative, and worked for me and my budget. She is incredibly friendly and smart, and she helped me finally to think outside the box. Luna is patient and answered all my questions/​dealt with my concerns, and she was especially willing to overlook my two cats who felt that they should also be part of the design process! One thing I really enjoyed was that we were able to discuss my style, actually figure out what that style was, and also understand exactly what I wanted out of my home and its look.
I’m slowly acquiring the pieces I need to make my home look and feel like «mine,» and I’m excited to send pictures to Luna once it’s all done. In the meantime, I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I contacted Noble Abode back in mid September anticipating our move to a new apartment on the 29^th of the same month. During the initial call I explained my budget and what I had in mind and most importantly, my timeline. Initially we were nervous about the process never having used a designer before. The only thing we were moving in with was our clothes and a mattress. That meant we needed to purchase everything and quickly.
I setup an appointment with the designer, Luna Grey, and we meet at the apartment prior to our move-​in date. She was very professional and friendly and the thing that struck me immediately was that she has full command of design concepts and the business. I was learning so much by simply taking measurements and determining color schemes and layout ideas. We picked paint colors and decided on a general aesthetic. Actually, the thing I loved the most about Luna was that she didn’t sugarcoat things. If I threw out an idea that she didn’t agree with she was quick to shoot it down in a very nice manner and to explain why that wouldn’t work. She just has a lovely way of explaining things and was super patient throughout the process.
Fast forward a week and we’re all moved in to the new place that’s already been painted but completely bare. She had our budget and made a list of everything we needed to purchase. She then put together a spreadsheet and assigned a cost to every item that would total the entire budget. We started working with things that were most important to us such as the bed, couch, dresser, etc. Here is the fun part — she would send Pinterest boards of a few samples of each item in the color scheme or design. We would review and select what we decided on and her team would purchase it for us. We proceeded this way for the next few weeks. Every few days we covered a set number of things I needed to purchase. I mentioned furniture but this also included lighting, art work for walls and even accent pieces for around the apartment. She spared us all the work and trouble of furnishing an entire apartment in less than a month. Lastly, she came back and hung our artwork. I mean perfectly aligned and spaced all of our frames/​art. This would have taken me hours and I promise it would not have been pretty.
In addition to the wonderful service I received from Luna and Noble Abode I was also able to take advantage of their trade discount at most vendors we ordered from like West Elm, CB2, Crate & Barrel, Wayfair, Overstock, Society6, etc… The discounts we received offset a lot of the cost of the actual service.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend Noble Abode to anyone. We love our home and have them to thank for making it as modern and beautiful as it is.

Where to begin. Jason is a master of design! He listens to his customers and his positive energy is contagious. In the matter of a week a week my office was redecorated to a beautiful space with the perfect pop of color, amazing details, modern yet feminine. Simply in love with with. Thank you Jason.
