Cheap, even for qi gong massage. Not as strong as my favorite qi gong on the UWS, but convenient and friendly, and also cheaper. $ 42 for 61 minutes

This is the friendly neighborhood Chinese-​owned, affordable massage place. My significant other goes perhaps once every week or two, and in spite of the quasi-​shady name, I trust that there aren’t any «extra services» involved.
Some of the workers are better than others and sometimes there can be a wait, but prices are definitely cheaper than your average NYC day spa ($ 42 for an hour). Not the rock-​bottom prices you get in Chinatown, but this is Greenwich Village, after all.
Tip: It definitely helps to be able to speak Mandarin so you can better tell the masseuse specifically what to do, and also so you can understand the workers’ occasional off-​hand banter (if that kind of thing amuses you).
