New York Vein Treatment Center

Great doctor and friendly staff! Always a pleasant visit when going to this medical office. More importantly, the treatment really helped me get rid of all the symptoms I had. I would definitely recommend dr. Khitin!

I wish there had been more reviews posted for this place, as perhaps I would have been spared the rip-​off that this place seems to be.
1) Every appointment I had I was kept waiting for an inordinate amount of time (45 min to over 1 hr). I was only seen on time for my last appointment because I called in advance and said I wasn’t coming in if they were running late. And even then, they took me into a room fairly quickly, but it took over 30 minutes until I saw the doctor.
2) I was told my case was not at all severe, and 1 treatment would be sufficient. After the treatment, results were barely noticeable, and at my follow up appointment, the doctor tried to tell me he never said 1 treatment would be enough. He then indicated that it may take several treatments. Complete bait and switch.
3) His demeanor and responses to my questions were very unprofessional and bordered on condescending.
4) While they tell you treatment is $ 399, they run a bunch of tests and bill a number of services to your insurance. So depending upon your insurance, you could end up paying much more.
All in all, this place appears to be a scam, run by unprofessional hacks. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE to get these services done.

Made an appointment to see the doctor last week about getting my spider veins treated. Went to their Upper East side clinic and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. The rooms were very clean and the doctor took the time to answer my questions (I had a lot of them!) regarding the procedure and recovery. I was thankful that he never tried to sell me on any thing and actually explained all the medical terms in the simplest way possible. Am definitely going to schedule an appointment for my mom as well!

I found this business on Unilocal and decided to go in for a consultation at their Manhattan office. The place was clean, and the staff were all super friendly which was a huge plus! Dr. Khitin (who seems to be the main doctor) sat down with me and explained the ins and outs of the procedure and was extremely funny and reassuring. He didn’t try to sell me on a procedure which is something I really appreciated and gave me a list of all my options. I have set a follow up date and will probably go to their Brooklyn office which is closer to me.

The doctor was nice and spent ½ hr with me to discuss the results. If you go in, expect to spend 3 hrs minimum there. In addition, I was prescribed compression stockings was given the option to purchase it there. I bought two pairs, $ 20 each, for Rx strength compression stockings, which is a great deal if you don’t have insurance. I do have insurance and the center does not know how i can get reimbursed. I had to call my own insurance company and found out that I can submit a claim form online on my own. The place was a bit disorganized as they changed my room3 x!
