I emailed that about a consultation, and we emailed back and forth for about a day or two. I then mentioned to them that I wasn’t in a great financial position, and asked what the sliding scale was based on, what it took into account, etc. It took them OVERTWOWEEKS to write back to me. I’m sorry, but when someone is looking for psychological services, sixteen days is an awfully long time. I couldn’t believe when I woke up this morning and found the email in my mailbox. Thanks but no thanks. That is no way to conduct a business.

I made an appointment with a consultant through their website, wanting to get help for various issues. This consultant told me she doubted my sincerity, and that because I am 40 it is doubtful that therapy would help me, as I’ve lived this way for so long. I left the consultation 100% more screwed up than when I went in, and she wasn’t the therapist. Her job was to find me a therapist. I am looking for an OFFICIAL place to file a complaint against that horrible woman, whose actions are unconscionable. To tell a person looking for help that they cannot be helped is so incredibly damaging that I need to make sure she cannot do this to anyone else. If anyone knows of where I can file an official complaint, please let me know.
