I am super hesitant to put such a high rating because as you know, whenever a barber becomes popular in the neighborhood, it starts to become crowded and your once hidden gem is no longer hidden.
However, I have to give a good rating to New York Barbers in Forest Hills, Queens because I got such a good cut.
Its a really nice shop, about 3 – 4 chairs deep and all the guys that work here really know how to taper and fade hair, not to mention are a friendly bunch.
I took the previous Unilocal recos and asked for Steve. I give him a huge thumbs up and I’ll for sure be a repeat customer.

There’s not enough stars for this barbershop, Steve is the man when you get out of there you will definitely feel and look prettier than your girlfriend :), friendly and good people.

FOREST HILLS, NY
If you are going to go, you have to ask for «Steve» — This kid has got the skills. .. and the talent; He is an exceptional Barber who is slowly coming into his own. He knows how to handle a razor and give a fine men’s hair cut. Prices are reasonable. I love the music that they got playing in there. You will see a very interest host of characters come in and out, all different ages and all walks of life. Its kind of funny! Everyone is cool! Don’t be cheap, give these guys a nice tip. Wish they had a better place to wash your hair; But. .. don’t want to take away from the charm of this. Thanks guys! — Dr. Lou
