New York Appliance Repair

My dishwasher was leaking water all over the floor. I called this service and booked an appointment between 2 – 5. They called at 5 to say they were 30 minutes away so I had to reschedule. The technician arrived after next time but the repair man said he had to see the leak to fix it. I told him the leak happens 30 minutes into the cycle. He said he could not wait. He suggested that I need to turn on the machine before he comes next time. When I mentioned this was not possible because the service is unreliable when it will show up. I asked him that since he is already here — and I’ve already waited during the two windows — if he could please hypothesize on any problems and he said no. There are only two places the water could be leaking but he was unwilling to troubleshoot. Not helpful, no interest in solving the problem, lack of service attitude. Call another service.

This place has the worst service I have seen in manhattan. They canceled my appointment on a Friday, can 3 hours late on a Saturday. For the final repair day, the guy Max was supposed to come b/​w 9am — he shows up at 1. He asks me to do part of his job for me. Management is most unhelpful — would never go to this place again. The only reason I give it one star is because I cannot seem to post without a star

I called this company after I found them on Yahoo Local’s directory. The door to the dishwasher in our office got stuck and we needed someone ASAP to come and fix it. I called them and was told that someone would stop by bet. 4 – 6 pm on that day. It was 5:30 pm and no one had shown up. I called them back and was told that the mechanic was just a few blocks away and he would be here shortly. Our boss had to stay and wait for him to show up. He said that a part had to be ordered and replaced in the dishwasher. After not hearing from them for almost 2 weeks, I called to follow-​up and was told that the part would be here by the following Monday between 11 am — 1 pm. This was Thanksgiving week. The company is not open on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Monday came and went. No one came. I called the dispatcher directly and he said that there was a mistake and the mechanic was actually scheduled to stop by on the following day. On Tuesday (TODAY) at 2 pm, no one had shown up. I called the dispatcher back and he said that the mechanic would be here around 4 pm because he got held up at a previous service call. I am fed up at this point because we already paid for the part and the maintenance. It is now 2:30 pm and I am hoping that someone actually shows up later today. The only reason why I’m giving this company 2 stars instead of 1 is because they actually showed up the first day that I called them about our broken dishwasher. I am not surprised that I’m the first to rate them on here. If you have almost a month to wait before your appliance gets repaired, call them. If not, find someone else!
