New Beverly Hills Hair Salon

Since I’m local to here this is my spot I would go to when I couldn’t get to my barber I grew up with. He moved a few months back so I’ve been coming here every two weeks until I put the effort into finding someone new. David, Leo & Manny have done a suffice job giving me the cuts I ask for. moving fwd, my last visit I was assigned Carlos. I’m not picky and figured it would be awesome to have another person in the mix in case manny, Leo and David are busy I know there’s a fourth. However… As Carlos was very nice, barbering skills is not his forte. I should be more angry but it is hair and it will grow back and I’m grateful I can work a pair of clippers as when I got home I had to do some reconstructive work on my hairline. Also, fading isn’t in his vocabulary either which I would believe would be a must for someone working clippers. I def will not be seeing Carlos for my next cut. I should have asked for my money back as I was not satisfied. As a professional if you know you cannot handle something please admit it so customers won’t walk away not ever wanting to go back. Very disappointed and looking fwd to my next cut somewhere else.

I’m never disappointed with the results when I visit this salon. It’s my family & I go to place for pampering and looking beautiful than before. Owner & Staff are quite professional and tends to your needs. Only place I do my eyebrows, facials & hair. I’ve been to other salons and the quality of work they do always make me regret ever getting anything done. That’s not the case with New Beverly Hills you won’t be disappointed.

I walked in randomly in the BH Salon one day in a desperate attempt for a haircut and was lucky to have met David. I live in the neighborhood and had never seen the salon until my boyfriend pointed it out to me. So I was a bit nervous walking into a salon wthout an appointment. Plus while I was waiting I looked up the salon on Unilocal and it only had one review! That made me nervous but the the review was about David which was very positive so that made me feel better :). Like many women, I have never been able to find a salon that understands my type of hair. That day, i did not have an appointment and David was with a client at the time. He told me if I waited a few minutes he would be able to give me a trim. Later I found out that he was supposed to leave early but he decided to stay late not only for me but the client before me as well. I was very impressed and appreciative that he had done this for me. In talking to him he was very friendly and nice. He gave me a lot of helpful advice and suggested some products I should use. The best part was he gave me a cut that I really liked. For years I’ve been going to different places and they can’t seem to know how to cut curly hair. It was very uneven. I had a really positive experience and went back for a second visit for a touch up and blow out. David did a beautiful job. I also loved the fact that he was open to my suggestions on what I like and didn’t like. Many salons like to put curlers and stick me under the dryer where I end up burning my ears. I hate the dryer! I told David I did not like that and he was very understanding. All in all I had a very positive experience and I believe I finally found a salon that gets my hair. I will definitely be going back!!!
I must also write about my pedicure experience with Monika. While I was waiting for my color to set, I decided to get a pedicure. Again was a bit nervous because it was someone new There were no reviews etc, so I took a chance. Let’s just say I’m never going to anyone else. Monika was amazing. She told me she has been doing this for many many years and she enjoys what she does. It showed. I have never experienced a pedicure like that. From wearing high heels a lot, it has not been very kind to my feet. She did her magic and I’m telling you my feet never looked and felt so pretty! Thank you Monika! I will be back to see you soon. :). Thank you! sometimes it’s worth to take a risk and you never know how lucky you can get!

David is The best! He’s a sweetheart, professional, and he has a wonderful personality ! I been going to him for 10 years already!

Love David his one of kind there’s no one else I would let touch my hair I went to him after a horrible experience with a salon on Jamaica Ave he assured me my hair will grow back healthier not only has he been my stylist but also a good friend thank you so so much
