Exceptional food and service. Convenient location: very close to the Met. We ordered calamari, crab cakes and house salad for starters. It was exquisite. The salad dressing comes on the side and it was excellent! Calamari was fresh served on a bed of perfectly made couscous. The crab cake topped with guacamole was excellent! Turkey club sandwich was fresh and crisp. Chicken and veal cutlets were succulent and veal Milanese was delicious! Desserts here deserve a separate review! Amazing banana split, excellent cheesecake(not too sweet and very dense and moist) and a very ferrous portion of baklava. It was the biggest portion that I have seen and it was very very good. Truly a wonderful discovery! I highly recommend!

Very good breakfast before hitting up the Met! Very clean, cozy spot. My bagel was toasted perfectly, my hash was great, and I thoroughly had a pleasant experience. Would recommend to a friend and will visit again!

Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is a relatively cheap diner near the MET. Good place to stop for a quick bite of food. That being said, the menu prices here are HILARIOUS. Some things are cheap and others are ridiculously pricy. For example, the sausage and egg breakfast I ordered was like $ 10, whereas a lox bagel was over $ 20? The sausages and eggs were good. Kinda salty, but exactly what you would expect from a diner. Drop by if you’re looking for a place to eat by the MET.

Horrible horrible place. I ordered breakfast and they forgot to deliver half of it and then refunded only $ 6 out of $ 55.00 order. Plus they said they won’t deliver the food to us anymore. I would never order food from this place

I’m not a fan of diners but this one has to be the most consistent with fresh and quality foods that u ever experienced, service good and staff friendly, but it’s expensive so watch it!

Very cozy place. They welcomed us after a dreadful café sabarsky experience. Delicious strawberry jam, pancakes, omlette. Their serving team is very friendly, they made me feel I’m at home. Thank you guys!

We ate here after a long day at Central Park and the Met. The food was really good and the service was friendly and timely. I had the linguine, my daughter had a Niçoise salad and my husband had pork chops. The menu has everything you can imagine! Dessert was spectacular and portions were generous.

Diner food, truly. Service was horrific. Server spilled a glass of water on my friend and didn’t even say sorry. Ordered a lava cake, received something else, asked the waitress if this was in fact lava cake and she answered curtly and rudely«yes». Then spoke to another waiter who corrected our order but it was not reflected on the bill. Food was okay, not good enough for the price we paid. Lava cake was awesome when it finally came!

Greek Diners are a New York idea, and to me a great option for someone who what’s to go out for breakfast. Plus, they can be affordable! The spinach and goat cheese omelette was delicious! I loved the goat cheese in that it was dispersed all around the omelette and not just in one area. Plus the home fries were crunchy and golden brown. Overall, a great diner with really good service.

Nice American style food with a very convenient location for both visiting upper East museums and Madison shopping. Don’t miss the«make your own omelette» and the really home-made frites.

Was working at the Sin Clair Mansion down the street from this place. I must say it is hands down some of THEBEST breakfast i’ve had in quite some time. Will definitely come back again. P:S the toasted muffin is pretty beast also.

While visiting the museum we decided to stop here and get a bit to eat. The food was very good. It’s a coffee shop type place with high end food. The specials are excellent. Tuna loin with sunchokes and hangar steak are some options. The prices are high but your on Madison Avenue and the food is definitely quality. Good choice if your in the area. Oh yeah even eggs benedict. The best

Looking for a delicious breakfast I ordered eggs & potatoes with toast and end up getting besides the tiny little glass of water… My eggs and deep fried fries with old tasting over-toasted toast & a couple of jelly’s. Would have been better off getting a gyro on the street since it’s right on Madison Ave.

Service was courteous and the fare was a cut above the usual Greek diner standard. A great place to have lunch or dinner when the Met is the focus of your day.

I came here hungry with my family expecting a decent meal. Knowing it’s the UES, it maybe pricey & which it is. There’s outdoor/sidewalk seating. Since the exterior looked decent, my family and I decided to go try this place out. First off, This place has mediocre food. I had Western omelette which was nothing special. My wife had eggs Benedict and she had the same reaction. As for my kids, they had a burger deluxe which just looked descent. The waitress that served us was an older lady, who seem to be very impatient. She was hovering over our table like a helicopter. This place is cash only which was not easily noticed until the bill arrived. & Again, The waitress was impatiently awaiting for my payment at departure. This place doesn’t even have a bathroom for their customers, which is ridiculous. Overall, a poor experience, poor customer service & mediocre food and I will be returning.

A cosy and affordable diner near the MET. Nice and homely. The food is average but good. I really liked the omelet I had here. A good place to grab a quick bite.

Pro: Great spot near the MET to grab a nice strong cup of coffee and watch the world go by. Vibe: Nectar is a small cozy space that has an old-school diner charm that’s going missing from the city pretty quickly. Service: Fast, efficient and didn’t try to rush us out and free coffee refills.

I like this place. The first time I was there I ordered three appetizers from the chef’s special menu. The bill came to almost $ 60(I had expected the high 40’s), but I wasn’t too concerned about the price since it is the ues, and the food was delicious. I had grilled octopus, an eggplant napoleon, and the other dish had guacamole, corn, salsa, and couscous. The waitresses are extremely nice. Service was excellent. I actually left some stuff at the restaurant the first time I was there, so I gave them a call and they were kind enough to hold it for me until I dropped by the next day. That day I had an omelette(which was slightly over priced in my opinion, since it didn’t quite have the charm the appies did), and a glass of artificial tasting grapefruit juice. Service over food over prices.
