Worst massage ever! I thought I was going for an acupressure treatment but left in so much pain for 3 days. Every time any one came near back I jumped. I asked my daughter to look at my back in the area where it hurt the most, in my upper back, and I had a blistered area. One week later I have two yellowing bruises in my lower back. The asian woman that gave me the treatment was named Lucy! My sister was there the same time with another technician and she had no problems whatsoever.

This place is great! It’s not a fancy place with frills but it gets the job done and they’re super nice. I don’t mind getting a massage just with curtains as separators so it’s OK. For the price, I don’t need it to be zen like if it works out my knots.

Popped in yesterday and there was a «closed for renovations» sign on the door.

I came upon this place one day when Super Magic Fingers(my usual spot until then) was too busy for me. first thing I noticed was a similar no-frills setup in this basement spot(i.e. sheer curtains as separators). if y’re suspicious of the shadiness of these type of setups, then in all honesty, stay away. peace of mind is half the massage anyway. i may have been perfectly comfortable, but i could see how the close basement quarters could make folks uneasy. an hour long massage was $ 40($ 35 before 2pm), which was a good sign. that’s cheap as it gets for the UWS. the woman who worked me was AMAZING! she used elbows, knees, and then some to apply the deep pressure i was looking for. i usually don’t call out my trouble areas; i’d like my reflexologists to be able to spot them, and she did. i’ve had three different folks at Natural Line work on me since then(all for at least 60 minute sessions), and i have yet to be disappointed. i’m a high school teacher who doesn’t skimp on the near-weekly massage to set everything right after a hellish week. at this point of the school year, my trips to Natural Line best Super Magic Fingers 2:1. a final note: on two occasions at Natural Line, i fell asleep during some pretty deep acupressure. not sure if that’s a sign of how tired i was, how good the masseuse was, or how relaxed i became. but i’ve been going back whenever i can, so that’s the best sign in my book.
