I love Nars Cosmetics. Their colors are so rich and deep, it amazes me. Of course, my favorite is the blush in Orgasm, though I also use Desire. Sometimes I buy a product just for the name(like eyeshadows in Mykonos and Santorini). «The Multiple» in Copacabana is great for adding shimmer on fairer skintones. I also recently bought a lipgloss, and it is fairly sticky, which means it will last for a while. Yay! Anyway, I am a huge Nars fan — have been for years and will continue to be.

I have to agree, Nars makes some really great blushes. I have most of them, my favorites being– Deep Throat, Luster, Lovejoy, Penny Lane, Dolce Vita, & Outlaw. They are very pigmented, don’t irritate m skin, blend well, and stick! Very minimal fading! The bright colors are scary but if you use a fan or stippling brush you’ll get a good amount & you won’t look garish. The bright colors actually look quite beautiful if you know how to put the look together! I’m not a brand snob by any means but I LOVE this brand for their blushes, lipstick, & foundations. My recs for lippies– Barbarella, Napoli, & Honolulu Honey. Lipglosses– Belize, Giza, & Supervixen. Lip Lacquers(these are my favorite lippies from the brand) — Baby doll, Eros, & Chelsea Girls. Some of their lippies can be drying(semi-mattes & satins) but a little Aquaphor on top and I’m good to go AND you don’t have to reapply their lipstick or lipgloss a thousand times because they last long– I mean some comes off if you eat obviously but I don’t have to reapply right away after drinking water. Nars has a really great selection of reds as well, I haven’t picked one out yet but will be for the fall. The only thing is I think their prices for some items like lipstick is on the expensive side– Dior lipsticks are 26 and those babies feel like silk and laaast. Lastly their foundation, I use their Oil Free and Powder foundation. Okay, I usually don’t like liquid formulas too much but I adore this one. It’s tenacious, lasts all day, & doesn’t make you look like you have an orange mask on(ahem oxidizing foundations!). Francois Nars formulated this(and most of his products) to be blended with your fingers! I’ve tried it with a brush and sponge but I think the most natural effect is when you use the warmth from your hands to smooth this foundation on. The powder is also very good, again, because it lasts. You look the same as you did 4 hours earlier when you buff the powder on, other powders fall off your face in less than two hrs whether or not you use primer. The liquid and powder are also a bit expensive but I get a really good color match with this brand. Unlike others where the colors may be too pink or orange, ew! Hah, I’m a hoe for this brand, but that’s because it works for me. Definitely try before you buy! There are duds in every brand but this one has quite a few winners and that’s why I’m a fan!

NARS makes the BEST blush! I have blushes in Orgasm, Zen, Lovejoy, and Luster and I love them all. They look awesome alone and even better blended together. I tend to stick with the more natural colors, but I’m sure even the more daring ones would match my skin tone perfectly. You gotta try it! It’s a high quality blush and there’s wide variety of colors to choose from. You’re bound to find a shade you’ll fall in love with. And I promise you’ll love it even more once you wear it because it feels really light and gives you a natural glow. They run for 25 bucks each, but it’s money well spent. The stuff lasts forever. I have to take away 1 star because NARS lipstick was a big disappointment. The colors are pretty, but it didn’t feel like they moisturized my lips at all. I even tried slapping on a thick layer of medicated Blistex before applying the lipstick but still ended up with super nasty, dry, cracked lips. So not cute.
