First time at this place even though I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 4 years. I used to always go down in the east village for Mani pedi but tonight was a little cold and I stumble upon this place thru Unilocal. Very happy I did! They had a wide selection on Essie and OPI nail polishes and very friendly service. The Lady who did my pedicure took her time and got my cuticles really clean. I didn’t feel like I was rushed at all! Small place but clean and I didn’t miss my usual nail salon at all and this place is wayyyy closer! Will definitely be coming back.

My gals here are fun, professional, and always greet me w/a big smile & a warm hello! Their attention to quick service is always appreciated. They are focused on their work but always make time for conversation and compliments! Very reasonable price for a great manicure and their chair massages are purely splendid… they wash the stress of a tough day away and they’ll have you walking out feeling absolutely fabulous and refreshed!

Did a decent job and only $ 7 for the manicure, so based on that alone I would go. I did really enjoy the 10 minute back massage. It added $ 10 to the price, but was well worth it. I would recommend that you be firm with the employees there — my friend who also got her nails done had a woman who was very rough with her and made her fingers bleed. Despite saying something to the woman, she did not handle her nails more gently. I however, had a great experience, but I think it’s still worth noting.

Convenient and reasonably priced, but the manicures don’t last that long. Also this place is so small that it’s almost claustrophobic. But for a quick mani/pedi(you have to ask them to use hot water instead of cold), it’s fine. Would walk somewhere else and pay extra to get a better deal.

I have been going to this salon on and off for the last year or so. The last two times I went Jenny did my nails and gave me a massage. She is very thorough and does a fantastic job. She even remembered me after the first visit. I felt like a queen. She is my fav by far. Very sweet and just wonderful. I will continue to come to her. I also hear that the manager Crystal is fantastic as well. I highly recommend.

Awful. I’ve been here a few times and thought that maybe they were having an off day, but after last night, I’m DONE. The shop itself is a little on the dirty side and none of the instruments are kept clean. Last night the tray that the woman used to keep the instruments in had skin and nail remnants from other people in it! The nail techs rush through everything and do a very sloppy job. There are numerous other nail salons in the neighborhood to choose from that are much cleaner and do a much better job than this place. Don’t waste your money.

Really good place to get a cheap mani/pedi! On wednesday they have a mani/pedi special — I believe it’s like $ 30 for mani/pedi combined. The ladies greeted me and were super nice the whole time during my experience, asking me questions and making nice conversation. They were also really helpful with making sure my nails didn’t smear and were dried properly, helping me put my shoes on at the end and putting on my jacket for me. I came here several times since then and they always remember me. Good quality for the price!

This would be a one star review, but they get an extra star because the magazine selection was good and the massage chairs were nice. This was the worst pedicure I have ever had in my life. Suffice it to say that I had to repaint some of my own nails. The pedicure lasts all of about 10 minutes… no nice leg massage like other places(lasted all of 10 seconds), as with the scrubby thing(lasted 10 seconds). After my nails dried I noticed that she had missed half of my pinky toenail on each side, the big toenail was uneven and lumpy, and that there was paint on the skin all around my nails. I asked for the polish back and fixed them MYSELF in the store… she didn’t offer to help, which I would have expected after a $ 5 tip(on a $ 16.75 pedicure) for a bad job in the first place. I also had to pick off the paint outside the lines myself. They look decent since I came home, did some more repairs, and added another topcoat but I have no doubt that I will need to get another pedicure within days. Horrible!

If you’re looking for your neighborhood spot for a no-fuss, inexpensive yet quality manicure… this is it. They have friendly service and a nice selection of colors. They also cleaned up my nail when I inevitably touched my not-so-dry thumbnail and smeared my just-polished finger. Oops! I appreciate the patience! Two of the women that sat on either side of me at the drying stations were clearly regulars. I may become a regular myself…

I had my nails done here on Saturday. I had a rebase or fill for my acrylic nails. It hasn’t even been four days and there is air under half of my nails and that means that I have to have them fixed. FOURDAYS!!! This rebase should have lasted at least two weeks. I would not recommend this place to anyone…

This place is a great find. The other location is MUCH closer to where I live(read: across the street) and potentially a buck or two cheaper, but the quality and people at the 22nd and 1st location make it worth shuffling home the extra few blocked, even though it significantly ups my chances of ruining my mani/pedi. Great Selection of Essie colors, can always find my go-to’s or whatever color everyone else is talking about. It’s clean, the chairs are new and without fail they will fit you in even if you sneak in for a discount M-W mani’pedi 10 mins before closing. The people here are great — friendly, they remember the regulars and unfailingly polite even when obnoxious snooty nobodies start to dish out attitude(I’ve seriously wanted to backhand a girl here before — get over yourself, you’re getting a $ 17 manicure and are not at Cornelia. Grow Up). Worth it.

Not only is this my regular go to mani/pedi place, but it is the ONLY nail place I will go to in NYC. Clean, consistent and comfortable. I’ve been going to this shop for 3 years and have not been disappointed! Why spend 2 to 3 times as much when you have all the same amenities, the big comfy massage chairs, a large and constantly updated selection of ESSIE polish. The nail technicians are friendly and fast. Be careful after about 5pm especially on Fridays it can get a little busy and there may be a wait but its worth it! Two week manicures and sometimes i can go almost a month before getting my pedi redone. Plus plenty of the latest Us Weekly, People, In Touch and Star!

Excellent way to warm up on a cool day after school! $ 17 for a mani-pedi Mondays — Thursdays and for $ 10 you can get a 10 minute hand/foot/back massage! Your choice. I wouldn’t recommend the french manicure — the lady who did mine didnt do it well, but my normal pedi looks awesome. They use Essie nail polish and the massage is well worth the $ 10! Looks like i found my regular nail salon!

Reliable place to get a mani/pedi. Have been going faithfully here for a few years, though I have strayed to many other places out of convenience. If I’m in the neighborhood, this is definite worth a stop.

My regular local nail salon! They do a good job. My pedicure lasts for about 12 days, and my manicure about a week before it starts to chip(but I bake at least once a week). Monday-Wednesday, $ 17 for mani/pedi! Great deal.
