Moonching Wu Acupuncture

A beautiful practice. Zero pain with the needles! Moonching helped me with some weight gain issues I was having, with my metabolism. She is a very grounded practitioner, kind and gentle. I highly recommend her work to anyone, any age, any ailments. Her knowledge is vast and she will more than likely be able to help, if not fix the problem you are having.

I’ve been seeing Moonching for over a year for various issues ranging from digestion to hormonal imbalance and she is absolutely incredible! Her treatments are certainly effective, but I most enjoy going to see Moonching for her energy and healing presence. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Moonching is a cool, down-​to-​earth, and resourceful practitioner. I have seen her for a few years at various locations, and she always helped resolve the various ailments I have stumbled in with, some of which have been challenging for other acupuncturists. Her disposition s clam and realistic, and she is not an intimidating or dismissive know-​it-​all as some doctors can be. I’ve benefitted from her use of of the fundamental trio of traditional Chinese medicine: acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbs. And lots of compassion, too. ;-)
She was the first of the dozen acupuncturists I’d seen over the years that treated me face down with needles along my back meridians, which seemed to show a good practice of versatility. Her treatment tool kit includes heat lamps and thin metallic/​mylar sheets to keep you warm, which all helps. Not all acupuncturists offer these helpful accessories. Ideally, her practice would be rewarded with more robust office spaces, and – for selfish patients like me– more days in practice. Go see her and you will feel better.

I went to Moonching for help with some digestive issues and have seen definite improvement. I’ve still got a ways to go. Between the needles and the herbs, I invariably feel better after!
Moonching is a lovely woman, intuitive and is able to thoughtfully treat with her gentle touch and extraordinary understanding of energy points and where to gently place the needles. Another positive is that she accepts insurance!

I’ve been going to Moonching for several months now and I recommend her highly to both acupuncture-​newbies and people who are quite familiar with acupuncture. I see her in the community-​acupuncture setting at Makara Yoga Studio and I have to say that compared to most community-​acupuncture appointments I’ve been to, it’s more like semi-​private than group/​community. Usually I’m alone with Moonching for the first part of my session and then maybe another client comes in once I am already settled in. I think it’s a tremendous bargain to get what is essentually 1:1 acupuncture treatment and herbs for the price that Moonching offers. My community is so lucky to have Moonching offering these services and at an affordable price. Also, Moonching is so warm and plesant to interact with. Her energy is so calm and provides you with an ease in being open about your ailments whether they are physical or mental/​emotional/​spiritutwl. I am learning so much from my appointments with her and am so grateful for the soothing relief her acupuncture brings and for the herbs, which I find so helpful to my healing.
