These guys are great! They’re open 24⁄7 and are there to readily help you with any of your needs, tire-wise. I recently blew a brand new tire that only had about 1,200 miles on it, courtesy of some pot holes on the Bronx River Parkway. A guy at the gas station where I was putting on my «doughnut» referred me to MBT. Due to the location of my tire’s hole, the fellow at MBT said he could not ethically(nor liability-wise [and he was right!]) patch or plug the hole. He offered a very reasonable used tire replacement for $ 35 — $ 40. I agreed, but unfortunately, he did not have my size. He referred me to another guy in the Bronx. This was all at around 11PM, BTW I went to the other guy and he plugged the tire. This did not worry me because I knew I’d be getting a brand new tire in a couple of days, once it was shipped directly from the factory to me. Well, the plug blew on the way back from a concert I played in NJ last night. There I was, on the side of the NJ Turnpike, my bass on the road’s apron with me, dressed in my tuxedo putting the danged«doughnut» back on! I went back to MBT this morning, they did actually have a used tire in my size this time and they had in on my car, ready to go in about ten minutes. Forty bucks! It is a tire in very decent and respectable shape, too! If you ever need temporary or emergency tire work done, 24/7, I heartily recommend Mid Bronx Towing, 100%!
