Since my first visit, Dr. Copeland did contact me and made a good effort to fix the problems I had with her initial filler work. She was pleasant and apologetic and did essentially what I asked this time, without charge. I felt she went out of her way to accommodate my issues, and while I still have reservations, I do want to congratulate her team for being so patient-positive and jumping in to fix a problem so quickly.

First, the office staff is very very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Copeland is a top quality cosmetic specialist and has many of the latest technologies in her office including a fully equipped operating suite as well as lasers and light therapies. She also has developed her own skin care line and written a few books. Read the review that says there was a sales pitch. Well, don’t you go into a cosmetic practice because you want something done? Aren’t you there because all the over-the-counter treatments have not given you the results you want? One should select Dr. Copeland because she is excellent, not because of a coupon. One should select any healthcare practitioner for excellence.

I went to see Dr. Copeland through a Lifebooker loot that gave a %71 discount on her steep $ 515 fee for a first visit. I have ok skin, but I break out every now and then and easily scar. I didn’t read the fine print and expected a dermatological consultation. But Dr. Copeland is not a dermatologist. She is a surgeon who became interested in skin care and developed her own line. So the experience was a sales pitch from the outset. I suppose I would have been less put off if I had realized that from the beginning. She was very nice, but the only thing she offers is her own skin care line and treatments, that are quite pricey. I personally cannot drop $ 1,200 for a laser treatment on a bi-weekly(or even monthly) basis, which is part of the regiment she recommended. I did like some of the products that were included in the free starter kit she gave me and I may even go back to purchase some more. But I cannot afford the whole line/regiment. And I found another product that is far superior in results. Overall, not a bad experience, but you should know what you are getting into. This isn’t a visit to the dermatologist; it is a marketing pitch(with decent products offered).
