Went to her years ago when I was in serious pain. I found her to be nasty, cold, pushy and hurried. After just two treatments, I never went back and found Dr. Michael Findling, who is super effective and extremely nice. Try him – you will not be disappointed.

Out of 10 chiropractors that I’ve tried, including the 4 who filled in for Dr. Bouchard during her 2 maternity leaves and family vacations, Dr. Bouchard is definitely the best so was with her for a good 12 years. She knows what she’s doing.
However, she only comes into her Manhattan office one day of the week; Thursdays. More importantly, unless you pay her $ 125 per ½ hr visit (rate as of 2011 and $ 250 initial consultation fee), expect to be short-​changed. I left Dr. B when she increased my ½ hr session from $ 75 to $ 95/​hr. She reminded me that since I was a long time client, I was still receiving a discounted rate from the new client rate.
The problem is that even at the $ 75 rate, she stopped providing ultra-​sound and massage therapy and only provided heat packs. Then, she would rush to get me out the door after only 15 minutes of treatment. 5 minutes to change out of street clothes into a gown, 12 – 15 minutes of heat pack, 5 minutes of adjustment and then she leaves so I’m getting dressed at 1:20pm.
I was so turned off that I left and found another chiropractor, Dr. Marc Bobrowsky, who specializes in Applied Kinesiology and worked from home for $ 50 per ½ hr visit. He gives you a full ½ hr of treatment and his methods helped now and then.
Dr. B, did provide ultrasound when she had an assistant, Nneka but she would sometimes come in and take over for Nneka and proceed to end the ultrasound prematurely by turning the timer dial down (you can hear it, Dr. B!) so I was short-​changed from the usual 5 minutes.
Also, she pushed these Chinese herbal patches which didn’t do a thing for me. All they did was leave residue on my skin for several days. She told me there’s a money-​back guarantee from the maker so I contacted them and they told me to get a refund from the person who sold it.
From above, no matter how good she is, you get an idea of how sneaky she can be. Just be aware that you may not get the full treatment if there’s any discount, promotion or special offers from the normal $ 125/​visit. Make sure you ask upfront about what the session includes and for how long. Don’t forget to listen to that ultrasound dial to get the full 5 minutes.
