Beware of this Dr Michael Maynard. He is super nice and sweet before surgery, but once he has done the surgery his attention is GONE. The surgery was not correctly performed and he will not acknowledge his errors. He take no interest in you once he has your money. So shop around and do your homework before selecting him.

If you need a great hip surgeon get to HSS and see Dr Maynard. Not only is he an incredible doctor, but a super nice person. He works with you, listens to you, and explains everything. He’s highly experienced with hip impingement and hip arthroscopy; a lot of drs say they do hip arthroscopy but they are not in there every week doing them with the frequency or technical experience of dr maynard and the HSS crew. The staff is wonderful (Brenda, Allison tiffany THANK YOU!!) They really work with you from coordinating schedules to being quick to return calls, email etc. You can’t beat HSS for orthopedic care and Dr Maynard made it easier to get the care I needed when I needed it.

If I could rate him more stars I WOULD! Hes an awesome surgeon-​KNOWS his stuff and ever learning more about it. I kinda doctor shop when I need one so if you mak emy list, you re on the excellente list. I only accept the BEST at what they do… Oh no egos here either… modest down home kinda guy!!! Always has his thinking going the next step too. HIGHLY suggested for any othro surgeies!!! hes at HSS-​the highest ortho rated hospital inthe US by US weekly I believe. Wouldn’t trust my body to any other…
