As if the most poorly run McDonald’s in Manhattan could not get worse! They recently completed a renovation job that managed to make the layout more confusing than ever. Where there used to be the cashiers where you can order, there is now a huge McCafe set up. Where do you order normal food? Apparently they are now limited to only two small order cashiers that are shunted off to the side and around a corner. There is no clear signage that that is where you order. Instead, there are a bunch of automated stands in the middle of the restaurant where you can self order. All fine and good I think because the cashiers at this place are often slow and rude. However, as I was putting in my order for a Big Mac at one of these stands, one of the inefficient employees slowly moseyed over and asked if I wanted to «build a burger». I told him no and he went away. Since I was dining in, the automated machine told me to enter the number of a located button. I did and took a button. Right then, the lazy employee jumped to action and told me that the buttons were only for customers who wanted to «build a burger». I told him that the machine prompted me to take one. He claimed that it didn’t. When I told him that I’ll show him, he said«All right» with a huge sigh. Seriously! It’s not as if you have any other thing going on! After I showed him where it prompted me to enter the locator button number, he said that I should have hit«Cancel». I told him that it never told me to hit cancel. He then said(again, impatiently), «It’s right there!!!». I told him that it still did not tell me to hit the cancel button(which, by the way, would have simply completely cancelled my entire order). His only answer was«That’s because these machines are for build-a-burger!» Really??? Then why was I allowed to order a Big Mac??? It’s apparent that what’s going on is that this location only wants to have table service available to their«build-a-burger» customers — all 2 of them. At the same time, it wants people to sue the automated machines — which is evident in how they reduced the regular cashiers to 2 and hid them away. You can’t have it both ways. Either reprogram the machines properly to say that the locator buttons are for build-a-burger or offer table service for everyone. Also, train your employees to offer intelligent responses without getting impatient with the customer. After this incident, I wrote in to management to complain and — as typical — they only acknowledged my complaint with a standard letter and a voucher for a free meal. I don’t complain to get a free meal! I complain because this is the closest McDonald’s to me and I want them to improve. However, time and time again, they fail to improve.

This is the worst bottom of the barrel McDonalds there is. I’ve been here a total of three times and the experience is always the same. The service is awful. Conversations just go on and on while customers wait. Instead of doing their job they complain about other people not doing their job. I don’t wanna hear it and I don’t care. The food takes forever for fast food. The place is always a mess with trash just sitting out in all corners of the common area. The bathroom is always horrifying and the weirdest thing about this place is that it’s in an affluent area. I can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down. One star for the food since its McDonald’s and it always tastes like McDonald’s.

Poor service at this location and I waited and ordered a few times only to find out my order could not be filled due to machine out of order or non delivery of items. This is the only location I have ever had these issues.

Decent Mcdonalds. I wouldnt say there’s anything special about it. Open 24 hours. Reason I give it 3 stars is because of the cleanliness of the place.

Why am I not surprised when I got home and found out they forgot one of the sandwiches I ordered? Why am I not surprised to find out the only sandwich I got was missing the sauce on it? I take back I said previously, it’s not typical McDonald’s, it’s just typical this location. I mean I’ve had better McDonald’s experiences, I just need to keep continuing remind myself NOT to go to this location. People, stay away.

Typical McDonalds, however, it is across from a community college that holds 20K+ students. Busy is an understatement and they definitely need more staff. When I was in here the other day they were taking orders faster then they can serve the food. There had to be about 30 customers standing around waiting for their food and getting a bit frustrated. It took me north of 8 minutes to get an order of fries and soda. Honest! Try to come during off hours and please tell them to staff their store better!

I got tired of waiting 10 minutes for my order of McNuggets meal, so I went and ask wheres my order. They couldn’t find my order so they just put it in the McNuggests in the bag. When I checked the bag, they forgot my medium fries since its a meal. Took another 2minutes for them to put that in. In addition, I had to ask for the medium cup and the fries received were old. The cashier didn’t give it to me. This isn’t the first time this happened to me here at Chambers. This McDonald is a piece of crap. Worse service ever. I was looking for their name tag but the two that was helping me did not have it on.

Although the interior is semi-luxurious looking, the comfort of that renovation quickly faded after another visit. I used to work in this area of Tribeca. I’ve been to this McDonald’s on many a drunken night/morning with friends. But that’s ONLY when you should ever go to this location, or, I guess, any McDonald’s in the city. When sober and alert, it’s horrendous service. Employees texting and yelling at their bosses when asked to enter an order. Loud. Obnoxious. Poorly managed, and I use this word a lot, CHAOS. High school students throwing food and fighting for milkshakes in and outside the establishment. My advice: just go to subway.

Worst service of any McDonald’s in the world. Can’t understand how this McDonalds operates so dysfunctionally. At least a 5 minute wait for coffee in the morning after the order placed.

I seriously don’t like how most mcdonalds charge you for extra sauce for the nuggets now, but it is cool. I mostly just get McFlurry here when on the go passing by. However I was most recently here for breakfast and all I could think of is how the place is so: Yeah ah ha you know what it is Red and yellow, Red and yellow Red and yellow, Red and yellow McDonalds is so: Red and Yellow, Red and Yellow. Red and Yellow, Red and Yellow. Red and Yellow, Red and Yellow. Yeah ah ha, you know what it is everything I do, I do it big Yeah ah ha, screaming thats nothin @Remix the mcdonalds way of a song… *Mcdonalds had this promotion with the free coupons to try the Frappé with Chocolate Chips lately. I hit up this location a few times. Well then, here you go: The Frappé Chocolate Chip is made up of ice, a caramel coffee frappé base, a mocha coffee frappé base, and chocolate chips that’s topped with whipped cream and caramel and chocolate drizzles. Not really a fan of this the version with Chocolate chips, love the other version though. Nutrition Facts — Small Size/12 ounces — 530 calories. Yeah, that too. If you love coffee drinks, but hate the flavor of coffee, this is for you. well, the version without the chocolate chips in my opinion, sure I had it a few times but just because I had the free coupon. Once I got the version with out the chips, cause they ran out that day by like 9pm. I was actually really happy, just that day. –Cherry berry chiller is also the other new popular drink from mcdonalds. I like it, am definitely a fan. It uses cherry juice and rasberry juice. Cherry Berry Chiller is made by blending ice with 100 percent fruit juice. Think of it as a 7-Eleven Slurpee for adults. Worth checking out, try it. This product alone is worth 5 stars. I hear it goes really well with some vodka as well. I have yet to try though.

I know what you’re thinking, «Is she really going to review a McDonald’s, really?» Why, yes, yes I am. The Tribeca McD’s in particular amuses me. If you manage to make it there without first being run over by a non-lingual,(yes, I wrote non-lingual; half and/or jumbled languages don’t qualify in my book!) rogue nanny plowing down the sidewalk with her Maclaren jogging stroller complete with monster truck tires that would make Bigfoot blush, congratulations. Once inside, you’ll find an impressively clean dining area amidst complete and total adolescent shrieking chaos. Good times, good times. Cleanliness aside folks, let’s face it, unless you’re Humbert Humbert this isn’t the ideal lunch hour situation. Spare your ears and your arteries.

One star for being opened 24 hours and another one for being clean and close to my apartment… This review is actually about the new Angus burger, I tried the bacon/cheese option and could not chew more than two bites… Terrible, the word Angus is a good marketing get up but it does not deliver. I will stay away from fast food for at least another year after this experience

THESETTING My local 24-hour Mickey D’s, one of those«new look» models complete with dark wood laminate, faux rock finishes, sleek modern-looking furniture, and not a trace of the trademark yellow and red. THETIME Half past four on a late Friday night/early Saturday morning. THESCENE Edwin C: [Approaches the counter slightly drunk. Waits at the counter for someone to notice him.] McD’s Employees: [Busy themselves behind the counter. Ignore the customer at the counter and avoid eye contact.] Edwin C: [Looks for something to throw at McD’s employees. Considers using a wad of napkins but realizes it won’t get far.] McD’s Employee #1: Sorry, you can’t get any food right now. Edwin C: [Thinking he’s not THAT drunk and must have heard wrong] Huh? McD’s Employee #1: Yeah, we’re cleaning stuff, so we can’t serve any food between four and five AM. Edwin C: [With slight irritation, since he’s sure that he’s previously had food here during that time] What? McD’s Employee #1: There’s no food right now. Edwin C: Okay, so what, you’re really a TWENTY-THREEHOUR McDonald’s? McD’s Employee #1: [Shrugs] Edwin C: [Storms out, cursing] THEBOTTOMLINE What good is all that spiffy décor if I can’t get any damn food?
