Awful shopping experience. They are now down to 2 stores and this once successful furniture retailer will not survive, in my opinion. I went to their Roslyn Heights NY store and then to their Paramus, NJ store and when I tried to buy a sectional sofa and coffee table they kept changing the price on the invoice to a higher amt. First they were going to fix the leg on a floor sample but on the invoice they said no then they wouldn’t honor the 10% discount they ran an add for in the NYT’s and then they agreed to it. When I finally thought we had a deal, they said the price on the coffee table was for the floor sample. I said your ad at the end of Sept. in the NYT’s said in bold letters 40−60% off plus another 10% throught Oct 12^th on «All Furniture». They said they would not honor the ad. I am reporting them to the Nassau County Dept. of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. This is not the store you think it is.

There’s a reason they’re closing this store. The service stinks. Went in during the sale this past weekend, and the salesperson who helped me was absolutely obnoxious. She kept pushing these fabrics (for a couch) that I said I didn’t like — as if her doing so would suddenly change my mind on chenille?! Then when I didn’t order (because they didn’t have the right fabric, and wouldn’t lower the price on the clearly not-​new floor model), she got all huffy puffy and walked away. What a crappy way to do business. Even on sale the couch is $ 3000, and at that price, you should be kissing my Louboutin-​clad feet.

I am addicted to this place. The quality and service are amazing. Ann at the 57^th Street store has an amazing eye for detail and is simply a wonderful person. Working only from the floorplan of our apartment, she put together a living room that could be in a magazine. She was there for every install to make sure everything was perfect.
The furniture is expensive but the prices are actual reasonable for the quality and level of service.
