I have been lusting after MB’s Coup D’etat for quite some time now. His shoes are so comfortable and require little to no breaking in. I believe I’m up to four pairs now, and I’m sure it’ll keep growing!
Popped in the store right after Thanksgiving and learned that they have a black Friday sale annually (noted) so stocks were low. I tried on another pair of booties for size and said I’d come back.
A few days later, I found a pair of the Coup online and purchased them right away. It turns out my friend had a similar idea as a belated birthday present. Opps!
After learning about it, I called the store, asking if it wasn’t too late to cancel my online order and they were SUPER, duper helpful with refunding my order. Excellent customer service and so quick.
It’s pretty amazing when good quality shoes are also paired with a great online experience and even better customer service at the store!

I recently started to take the bus to travel around Austin, so I have been on the hunt for cute, comfortable flats. I was very excited to find the Matt Bernson short wedge ballet flats. Unfortunately, the souls of these shoes quickly wear out. Granted I do walk quite a bit (maybe a mile a day), but I was very disappointed to have them fall apart within a month:(

Designed in the TriBeCa studio and hand-​made in Brazilian workshops, MB’s hot, trendy shoes were previously only available online and in select retailers. Naturally, I was too excited to hear about the opening of Matt Bernson’s Tribeca boutique!
The boutique is sophisticated, with chic, minimalistic décor, displaying the latest trends, while appropriately adhering to MB’s motto.
