I had a great experience here. Manuel was very helpful and patient as i chose fabrics, styles and he also took really good, detailed measurements. The shirts arrived as promised and he made sure i did a quick fitting just in case any adjustments needed to be made, of which there were none!
It feels great to have custom made shirts especially when you might have a body type that doesn’t conform with most shirts ‘off the rack’ at clothing stores.
I would recommend to anyone looking for nice, bespoke shirts. It was a very fun, stress free experience.

High quality shirts and a great shopping experience. ManuelRacim shirts cost less than buying a high-​quality but badly-​fitting shirt and having a tailor make it right, and once you get measured, ordering more shirts is a snap. And their customer service is top-​notch — my first batch of shirts didn’t fit quite right after being laundered, and they took care of the issue without any hassles. I plan to buy all my shirts here from now on. Very highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about these shirts and the service!!! On a recent trip to NYC I went into the store with my significant other to get him a properly fitted shirt for an upcoming event and we were both absolutely amazed with the results! A superb, custom fitted shirt with the finest French fabric at half the price of some of his designer shirts (John Varvatos to name one). I called the store and ordered 6 more as a surprise! So easy, they had his measurements, and I picked the fabrics from a variety of fabulous fabrics and viola… they are delivered to the house in Chicago! On another recent visit to NYC we went back into the charming Tribeca store and I got fitted for my own ManuelRacim tuxedo shirt and a jean shirt — so sexy and slenderizing!!!

After I experienced some fit issues, one of the owners contacted me personally to see what they could do better. The follow up service was very good. My final shirt was delivered, and it is awesome.

Let me tell you, i do not like slim fit based on how i’ve been dressing myself in the past. That said, my shirt from Manuel Racim is beautifully constructed. Some places think slim means TIGHT, but I don’t want to walk around looking like I’m trapped in a sausage casing. The guys here nailed it. Not billowing out everywhere but still enough room to breathe and move. The shirt was a little longer than I wanted, it wasn’t a big deal and I could have walked out with it but they made the adjustment quickly and at no charge to me.
I will say the quality of the shirt is also much higher than the mass produced stuff that comes out of asia. Everything is done in France, and for $ 125 it’s a steal.
Definitely worth stopping here if you want the quality of a traditional tailor but your tastes are a little more modern.

The absolutely WORST fitting shirt that I have ever purchased. If I had bought the wrong size of an off the rack shirt, it would fit better.

I used to travel to Hong Kong for business and would get shirts custom-​made at Ascot Chang. Now that I’ve found Manuel Racim, I’m only getting my shirts made here. The quality, fit, selection, workmanship, and customer service are beyond expectations. As others have attested, this place is a fantastic new entry in the world of custom shirts.
However, I’m writing this review because recently, their commitment to customer service surpassed my wildest expectations. About three weeks before my wedding, I ordered several shirts from Manuel Racim to wear all weekend. Due to delays clearing Customs, it was unclear whether the shirts were going to arrive in time. While I was freaking out, Manuel purchased some high-​end shirts and hired a custom tailor to rework the shirts to match my exact measurements… all in one day! Courteous, responsible, and apologetic, he had the shirts couriered to me overnight.
In the end, my original shirts cleared Customs and I was able to wear them for my wedding (because again, Manuel had them couriered to me.) In a day and age when customer service is waning, I’m glad that there are companies like Manuel Racim that understand how much customers value attentive service.
Because of that (and the quality of the shirts,) I’ll be a customer for life.

Just got my third shirt from ManuelRacim so it’s about time I gave them a review.
I used to buy high end off-​the-​rack shirts from Saks, brands like Canali and Armani. Never again! My ManuelRacim custom shirts are perfectly fitted, made in France, and best of all… they cost only $ 125. My Armani shirts were at least $ 250 each. They offer higher priced fabrics at ManuelRacim but even their cheapest fabrics felt as good as (or better than) my other shirts.
The sales girls are very knowledgeable about the fabrics and I never felt pressured to buy. The whole shop experience is luxurious but it doesn’t feel stuffy and pretentious like some other boutiques.
At the end of the day this is the best bang for the buck in my closet!”

I was very pleased with the experience as a whole. The fitting process and the shirt fit perfectly, and the quality is top notch. My only gripe was not having my first 4 choices in fabric in stock. Thus my first MR shirt was my fifth top choice in fabric. The end result was still magnificent, and I am very pleased.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review, but I have enjoyed my experiences with ManeulRacim so much, I must spread the word. The shirts are incredible and the options are endless. Plus, I really appreciate that the pricing is not based on all of the options so you don’t have to worry about the store trying to up-​sell you. Their guidance is purely on finding the right style that fits you.
We ordered our tuxedo shirts for our wedding day here as well as fun going out shirts. Can’t wait to order more. We only wear custom shirts and this is now our «go to place» in the states.

Usually get bespoke at Ascot Chang but this shop is closer to my office so I thought I’d give them a try. To start, there’s no minimum order and the turnaround (2 to 3 weeks) is quicker than other places I’ve tried. Not sure how they manage that with the shirts being made in France. I’ve never seen anything like the touchscreen they use to design your shirt in 3D either. It was fun to see the shirt designed in real-​time but I already knew what I wanted, so wasn’t of much use to me personally.
The shirt itself fits spot on! I’m pretty picky and the first try didn’t need any changes whatsoever. I chose a soft plaid from one of their Italian fabric books and it doesn’t disappoint. For the quality the price is significantly lower than other high-​end custom places, so I think I found my new shirtmaker.

This is a long overdue review, considering the great experience I had at ManuelRacim!
Months ago I had been invited to a pop-​up store event and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I had heard some good things from some friends but since my work attire is fairly casual (button downs, polos, jeans), didn’t really give it a second thought. My girlfriend then convinced me that a man needs to have some nicely fitted and good quality shirts — if not for special occasions then at least so I can feel put together once in a while. Trust me — this was a big deal for me.
I was greeted with friendly, knowledgeable, and no-​pressure employees. They gave me a lot of time to walk through the space and take it all in. What I got out of this was that they wanted me to feel comfortable and explore, and only approach them when I was ready — really nice to have this kind of treatment at a classy establishment without feeling out of place. Not going to lie — this is the only time in my life I had been measured for anything except for my high school prom tux fitting, and buying a suit ages ago.
As I was picking out various collar, sleeve, and pattern options, I did feel a bit overwhelmed by the numerous customizable elements. The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable of classic vs modern looks, fabrics that felt comfortable and were durable, and helped guide me towards something that looked like my style. I still loved the ability to fully customize every aspect of the shirt.
I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical about measurements at first, and was afraid the final product would be too snug. However, when two weeks later I got my shirt I realized it was a perfect fit. I was amazed by how much a well tailored shirt made me look more put together — but most importantly it was comfortable and made me feel at ease. The thing felt like a second skin.
You can say that my experience with custom made shirts could be duplicated elsewhere, but I would say that ManuelRacim gave me a unique service experience, an affordable but well made product, and most importantly the ease of being able to order again at any time I want without even leaving my computer by storing my measurements.

A bespoke addict friend suggested this place when it came time to find a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. I’ve never been able to buy shirts for him that fit well (or he liked) so I figured custom would be the way to go this year.
Shirts range from about $ 125-​$ 300, which I found quite reasonable for made-​to-​measure. We made an appointment and went in together to shop in the very cute and cozy store in Tribeca. Sales girl was very friendly, and didn’t rush us while we were going back and forth between fabrics, and all the style options. Shirts are designed on a touch-​screen, so of course my boyfriend enjoyed the dude-​friendly tech elements.
Fit was great. Pricing reasonable and customer service worth every penny.
