Ruth is a truly talented hair stylist! Since I found her 2 years ago it is the only salon I go to for color. Highly recommend her for all her hair services! She is warm and personable too

Here I am more than 50% gray. So I consult Ruth at the Madison Avenue Hair Studio. Entering this salon is like going to the Apt of a friend. It is a cozy, soothing atmosphere not to mention beautiful to look at with that open brick faced wall. Just lovely!
Ruth is very accommodating. We discussed color. My thought was always a dark brown to preserve that natural look. Ruth suggested black organic color which I first felt reluctant about. But as we continued I felt comfortable with her recommendation.
Here it is a week later and I love love love it! The gray is gone. My hair is super soft and manageable though I wear it very short. It even curves up with little coaxing. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the result. Even the thin areas are neatly covered. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the fabulous hair cut.
I will certainly go back to Ruth when the time comes. Great experience.
