Went to the Andy Kaufman exhibit yesterday. So confusing! The entrance is not marked and when you walked in there were a bunch of ladies eating lunch around a table. (I guess one was Andy’s sister, and she was part of the exhibit?).
In any event, it was a bunch of tables with memorabilia inside, which was kind of interesting (nothing from Taxi or SNL), but the real thing we wanted to see was the video clips which were apparently in a different room that we could not find after walking around the block a few times so we split. Others we spoke to experienced the same thing.

okay it’s an unassuming entrance but well worth a visit. it looks like a shipping dock, but it is the entrance. on view now is ryan sullivan’s textural canvases and drawings. the space is a bit maze like. it’s next door to gavin brown enterprises, which they sometimes team up for exhibitions.
