If yall wanna see pretty patties from Spongebob, then it’s probably best to come here. I love how Macaron Parlour offers some of the most exotic and unusual flavors of macarons I’ve ever heard of, from cheetos to thai chili to candied bacon with maple cream cheese. They also have some traditional flavors ranging from the aromatic floral flavors to sweet and fruity macarons. Initially, I was a little skeptical to try the candied bacon macaron, but it turned out a lot better than I thought it was! Somehow there was a hint of savoriness from the bacon meshed with the sweetness from the macaron. My favorite has to be the crème brûlée(cause it’s so toasty!) and apple cider(probably cause of the color honestly. presentation does a lot to sway me over)! I find their macarons a reasonable size for $ 2.50(maybe a little larger than normal macarons actually!) They’re a perfect amount of chewy and light too!

I came in here on a Friday night after dinner with friends and I must say we will very very happy to have tried. The location is a cute little place decent size where you can sit in and actually enjoy your sweets with friends. The girl in the front was very nice and accommodating. We tried a box of 12 macarons each a different flavor and they are very unique I must say in terms of flavors and thought they were all very good. Favorites for me were the Apple Cider Caramel, Strawberry, Red Velvet and Passion Fruit. We actually can’t wait to go back and try the ones we didn’t get to try.

They were running out of the cute hello kitty macarons, oh no… but they do have a handful of other macaron selections. Got my daily americano. Wish they have wifi here as well…

Good flavors at a reasonable price! I know $ 2.75 for a small dessert might not be «reasonable» to some people but a lot of other macaron places charge just as much if not more. At least Macaron Parlour has cool flavors.(There’s a cheeto flavor and a maple bacon one) The guy that served me was also really helpful and polite. It is a cute little shop and really colorful yet subtle. My friend got the carebear stare salted caramel ice cream sandwich and I bought a half dozen macarons for $ 15. I regret nothing.

I’ve been here a few times, and it’s not busy. It’s a quick in and out. They have a good variety of flavors, and the prices are $ 2.50/ea. Their smallest box size is $ 15, and there’s not additional charge to have it in the nice box. My favorite is the earl grey one. It’s a must-get for me every time. They have have some interesting flavors with bacon, but I haven’t gotten that adventurous. PS: I had them in a fridge for a week, and they were still pretty good. :D

If you want unique, out of the ordinary macarons, Macaron Parlour is the place for you. From outrageous flavors like Cheetos and maple bacon, your taste buds will be pleasantly surprised. I never liked Cheetos, but this macaron was actually my favorite. So if you grew up eating Cheetos, you’ll definitely love this flavor. It’s that bright orange color we all recognize as well. Maple bacon was my runner up favorite as there was a real bacon slice situated between the filling. A little trek from St Marks, but if you’re in the area or not, this place is worth visiting.

looking to get your MACK on? well not here bc YOUR flirt game be weak. lol however looking to get your MACARON on? you’re in the right«sweet» spot. seewhatididthere well-lit. very bright space. a lot of light colors used to envelop the pastry parlour’s interior so the macarons really shine and contrast. as soon as you walk in there is an immaculate glass display of macarons to choose from. further in is where the staff/cashier are. there are macaron-esque art pieces and in the back are a few tables to sit down and dig into your macarons. there’s a nice sweet smell in here that is not overpowering… delightful. the macarons can be hit or miss depending on your tastes. for me i go with more traditional flavors. the wacky ones like a «Cheetos infused one» sounds disgusting(didn’t try this one, but i don’t think it would taste good and since there are no samples here… i ain’t risking it). however four flavors i did really enjoy were the Earl Grey, Fig, Matcha and Red Velvet. Each had their own distinct flavor while still maintaining that pastry perfection quality in each bite. delicate. sweet. excellent. while it’s hard to compare macarons from different bakery/pastry place… i can say that the Macaron Parlour will not disappoint. beyond experiment in flavors, they also have other baked goods here like cookies etc. as well as coffee. macarons are $ 2.75 each or 4 for $ 10. pretty much the norm for NYC. the staff are functional. the last couple of times i’ve been here… the staff(just one person. no one else was there) seemed pretty non-energetic. it’s kind of depressing. then again on a Football Sunday who is buying macarons before a game? me. lol also why are there never any samples here? i would try wacky flavors if there samples of them on hand to try. seems weird. i don’t think they need to go all Trader Joe’s in terms of samples, but if you want people to run the gamut of your variety and discover your creativity… seems kinda meh to not have one flavor broken into bits to sample. then again knowing the East Village, people would abuse sampling… drops mic so can stack a sleeve of Macarons like Oreos! i out. zzzz

Macarons are something I can take or leave. So when we walked in I didn’t think to avail myself of all the flavors they had. What I did end up getting was their Kitchen Sink cookie which was delicious as well as their Raspberry Lemonade which was really good. My friends enjoyed their selection of 6 with the bacon one and the Cheetos one being awesome in their eyes so the macarons are good, if Cheetos can be blended into a macaron and it works, it’s gotta be good. The kitchen sink cookie was good, it did have everything but it was soft and chewy. On top of that we walked in about 10 minutes before closing and we were free to hang out and with no pressure.

AAAAH they got even better. The fig macaron with wine braised fig jam is their best flavor yet. Service is always polite and accommodating to indecisiveness. I always stop here when I’m on St. Marks. On my 10th visit I finally found my spirit flavor!

I’ve been here a couple of times(though never on my own volition, always with others) and I have to say the quality of macarons is poor here. It’s very logical, though: if you have a shop that sells macarons exclusively, they have to have a lot on the shelf and they can’t possibly sell all of them quickly. Therefore, many of them go stale. This is why I don’t prefer shops that say they only sell macarons, because they have probably been sitting out for a week. There are many flavors here that are unique but I found that the taste is bland for most of them. The one thing they have going for them here is that they have seating in the back, and the service is good.

Hands down one of the best and most unique macaron places in NYC. The candied bacon with maple cream cheese is definitely one-of-a-kind. Favorites: * The Giggity(Chocolate Ganache, Peanut Butter, Marshmallow Crème, Dulce de Leche & Salted Peanuts) * Pumpkin(Spiced Pumpkin with Semisweet & White Chocolate Ganache), * Honey & Cognac(Brown Sugar & Honey Shell with Sweet Honey Buttercream with a Splash of Cognac) * Candied Bacon with Maple Cream Cheese They have more traditional flavors as well(e.g., chocolate, salted caramel, pistachio) but the reason to go here is really for the unique combinations of flavors. You can’t go wrong with traditional flavors though. They also have scones, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods. These are fine but the macarons are obviously their specialty. I’d note that the macarons are pricey, though basically(and sadly) in-line with prices elsewhere in NYC. The store itself has a simple modern white design. I wouldn’t recommend sitting there to eat, but instead they can give you macarons in nice take-away boxes to share with friends later(or eat all on your own — no judgment!). :-)

I just wanna warn everyone out there, if you’re a Cheetos obsessed person like me and you are only interested in this place to taste their Cheetos flavored macarons, don’t bother! They don’t taste like Cheetos at all. Other than that, the macarons were too sense. On a positive note and the only reason I’m giving this place two stars is because the rosemary olive macaron was surprisingly good. I also tasted the candied bacon, carrot cake, honey and the cognac and the passion fruit macaron flavors and they weren’t good. Obviously not a returning customer.

Wow this was legitimately disgusting. I really found this to be one of the most disappointing experiences in macarons that I’ve ever had. I saw how great the reviews here were and so I literally slogged through the area on a grim rainy night to experience these macarons. I got four macarons: apple cider caramel, caramel fleur de sel, party time, and vanilla. Thoughts on the place — basically a small cute café, a few table spaces to sit at, and definitely a creative array of macarons to try from. Their flavors here are definitely fascinating — e.g. cheetos, candied bacon with maple cream cheese, to name a few. But frankly, I don’t care how creative your macaron flavors are if you can’t nail the texture. The four macarons I had flavor wise, was fine, but the texture was so off it really didn’t matter what the flavor was because I was so confused about what was going on in my mouth I wasn’t even sure what to think. The first macaron I had was hard as a rock. I plopped it in my mouth and couldn’t even chew it. The second one was slightly better, more normal macaron quality, but still fairly hard. The third one was flimsy and just split like a cracker, and the fourth one was back to the quality of a rock. So first, there’s the problem of why were all four macarons SO different in terms of consistency, and then the second problem is why wasn’t there a single one that was perfect in texture? Soft shell that gently cracks when bitten… This was literally like chewing on a rock with some cream in the middle. Flavors were fine, but the reason people pay $ 2.75 for macaron is for the texture and the flavor… You are absolutely much better off going to Laduree. And frankly, at the prices Macaron Parlor is charging, you’re not losing that much money either. tldr; legitimately terrible macarons, awful texture, flavors are creative but if the texture sucks… why bother

Oh my gosh, I randomly dropped in here after getting a bite at Crif Dogs next door. I wasn’t expecting to find great macarons, but theirs are absolutely awesome! My favorite in the city, after Laduree, of course. Great texture, with a good mix of classic and inventive flavors. If I lived in the city, I would definitely come back often! Sadly I don’t, but fortunately you can order online!

This review is for Macaron Parlour at Madison Square Eats. The Cheetos flavored macaron peaked my interest as well as several other odd flavored items like lemon basil, smores, and corn. I was slightly disappointed that Cheetos did not taste like Cheetos. Lemon basil was pretty tasty. All in all, Macaron Parlour is an A-OK shop. Since I’m from out of town, my go to place will still be Laduree.

Cute little macaron shops with plenty of seating in the back. I love the framed photographs of macaron close-ups and the baking process. There’s also a small water cooler in the back where you can help yourself to some water with their plastic cups. Bathroom is clean too. I had the sea salt caramel macaron ice cream sandwich and it came in Care Bear colors. The flavor was on point and went well with the frozen yet moist once bitten. A simple yet fancy afternoon sugar treat while in the East Village.

Such a cute little place tucked away beneath fellow LES shops and eateries. Aesthetically, a simple white, modern design; and the Macarons are über tasty — one of a kind. I’ve had the pleasure of not only eating their creations but actually taking a Macaron making class back in April. My favorite flavors? — Caramel Fleur de Sel(Salted Caramel Buttercream) — Pistachio(Pistachio Shell w/Pistachio and White Chocolate Ganache) — Honey & Cognac(Brown Sugar & Honey Shell w/Sweet Honey Buttercream /Cognac) — Earl Grey(Milk Chocolate Ganache Infused w/Earl Grey Tea) The cookie itself is light and chewy and the filling has the perfect consistency & unctuous flavor. The price is rather on the expensive side but after taking the class, I completely understand why they’re worth the big bucks. Making Macarons takes lots of labor, patience, and a good eye to know when the batter is just at the perfect texture to start piping & baking. The Class: $ 100 per person, some may argue that the price is steep but honestly, it’s well worth the money. First off you get to take home over 80 macarons. Yes… over 80!!! And you make everything you take home which makes the experience personable. You’re also able to choose the color of your cookie, we chose blue for our first batch and tie-dye red/orange for our second. Our fillings were salted caramel buttercream & pistachio/white ganache(which we also made ourselves). What make the experience even cooler is that the owners teach the class, what’s better than being taught by the experts themselves? Maximum number is four students per session, and it’s about a four hour session… you learn a lot, get the recipe, take home a bunch, and get to bake right inside of the store’s kitchen. Love, love, LOVE Macaron Parlour… it might be my new obsession.

A quaint cute shop with lots of flavor option for macaroons to entice the eyes, mouth and stomach. I surely got my sugar fix here! For $ 2.50 per piece was worth the favorable tasty appeal. Macarons can be sold in boxes of 6, 12, and 24 pcs are available. So many flavors, oh my! Undecided for nearly five minutes. Customer service is very attentive, courteous and efficient as my party of two were the only patrons occupying the shop at the moment. On a very warm and humid June Sunday early afternoon with abject pain from recent major surgery + the uncomfortableness of humidity we were able to sit for nearly forty minutes in peace in air conditioning environment without being quickly ushered out. I am still in excruciating pain at times as it comes and goes depending on my bodily movement. The shop owner or manager is very friendly to allow our party of two sit waiting for my pain to subside as we chat. Background music is the radio playing 1980s music. Coffee is also served here. Cookies and other baked goodies are offered. Gift certificates are available. All sales are final. Yes, there is one uni-sex facility on the premise. Delivery is available via Urbanspacenyc. com

Macarons are what real dreams are made of!!! I could eat them everyday but because I fear being fat I don’t! But that doesn’t stop me from craving them. This place is one of the few that offers really great unique flavors. The first one I tried had actual bacon in it! It doesn’t get more unique than that! They have a lot of unique flavors. My favorite is SMORES and the giggity(not sure if I spelled that right). They have lots of other great treats to offer also, however when I am here it’s all about the macarons! They ever have macarons for your pup! Yes! I almost fell out when I saw the tiny little dog macarons! My guy loved them as well!(My dog, not my boyfriend) :) Staff here is always friendly and willing to answer questions and give you the deets on what’s the best thing to order or try! When I am in the east village this place is always on my radar!

These macarons are AMAZING. They are so tasty and come in some crazy cool flavors, and I only wish I could have tried them all! I particularly liked the caramel apple, earl grey, and honey cognac flavors. The caramel apple had real apple chunks, and the earl grey was very fragrant, just like the tea. Each macaron is $ 2.50, but I bet you can’t get just one. There’s a few cozy tables in the back where you can sit and enjoy your delicious macarons as well as free water. We were here on a weekend and practically had the back area to ourselves, which is a rarity for Manhattan.

Awesome macarons + Friendly Employees = Good Times Their Macarons are delicious. Slightly crisp cookie on the outside with cool and creamy fillings. Below the crisp cookie is a cakey inside. The fillings are flavorful and generously filled. Some of the macarons were a bit sweeter than I’d like but overall, we enjoyed them. They offer a variety of macarons, in addition to other baked goods. There is seating towards the back of the bakery and they have a restroom here.

Fact: Not 10 min before I stumbled across this place, I was talking to someone about their trip to Paris, and was asking them if they had any Macarons. Coincidence? I think not! So being presented with this opportunity, I felt like I had no choice BUT to load up on a sampling of these goodies. Now I’m no macaron expert, but these were some of the best I’ve ever had. Delicate, and perfect texture. I’d like to do a side by side with Ladurée, because I really can’t recall it being that special. The caramel fleur de sel is Pure. Crack. Added to which, the staff here is super nice, and didn’t take offense at all when I walked in here asking for doughnuts(cuz I’m not too smart sometimes).
